← Jon Jones

Is Jon Jones right to be angry about how his UFC career has seemingly ended — or is he reaping what he sowed? 🤔

Leave your thoughts on Jones' UFC White House snub in the comments!

Coke and cheating on his wife. Still going strong.

He could have fought Tom and then he could have fought at the WH. He said no to both. Why is he mad at anyone else? He's the one who retired. Lmao.

barrystjohn682mo ago

He retired because he did not have the guts to face Aspinall....talk about being two faced. Tom called him a duck for refusing to face him, I would really say Chicken is a far better word to describe him.....

Dude dragged the heavyweight division for years, then refused to fight the interim champ on his return, dragged the division longer, then officially announced his retirement instead of ever unifying the belt, only to learn of the Whitehouse card and want to come right back. Good riddance

oldnhbfreak4mo ago

I think Jones dragged the HW division because of money, not oponents. Dana has said Jones is the goat, but still pays him peanuts. Ngannou left because they wouldn't pay him. It's time these guys get paid. The paramount deal was 7.7 billion. If NFL, NBL or NHL players got paid what ufc fighters get, they would be on strike.

harvey.leonard6mo ago

Agreed. I think the UFC can be criticized for not booking such a huge fight but we can also have zero sympathy for Jones. He made his bed.

Dana hasn’t been known for his honesty. Insert Slap League

jamie.theodosi6mo ago

What do you think he's not being honest about in this situation?

smill0313816mo ago

In what way would Jones be reaping what he sowed?

8bmvtktzrf3mo ago

look up his rap sheet. hit n runs, drugs and domestic violence

jamie.theodosi6mo ago

Well over the years he hasn't exactly been a 'clean athlete' in many many ways.

thisisjustatribute116mo ago

Listen Dana hits his wife in public... so it's not so hard to imagine he also lies.

erikjgilson6mo ago

Jones and Connor are both gigantic embarrassments basically nobody has taken seriously in the past decade+ which is really funny for the two most famous MMA fighters around. That being said Dana deserves no credit cause he's basically the worst boss imaginable. Just a barrel full of bad human beings who deserve nothing pleasant

sellaia6mo ago

LOLOLOL House Ninja finds out Massah not that good after all, huh?

aeboyles6mo ago

Jones caused a lot of drama, intrigue, embarrassment for himself and the UFC for many years. He should not be surprised that he didn't get the "big prize" of fighting at the White House. He was caught cheating, hitting a pregnant woman in a car and running away, and many other idiotic incidents. The man is unreliable as a role model.

richardvidro6mo ago

So!!! We're talking about the UFC!!!!!he also made him millions !!!

harvey.leonard6mo ago

It's almost surprising that he's actually upset by it. Surely he saw this coming? Why would the UFC do him any favors after everything

aiden04246mo ago

Yes he should be able to walk away but if you wanted the baddest card if should of been jones… Dana is a punk all his fighters have a lot of issues with him even Alex he just think he can tell these fighters all this fight if or don’t fight at all all your top heavy weights are gone or about to be.

dr.cheyno6mo ago

Yep, reaped what he sowed. You either retire or you fight. You can't pick and choose both no matter how good you were.

jordan.ellis6mo ago

You wanna side with the fighters always but Jones makes it hard sometimes

harvey.leonard6mo ago

While I'd have liked to see him fight Pereira, I have no sympathy after his smug responses about fighting Tom Aspinall

axethetacs7mo ago

Jones is one of the greatest fighters of all time but that does not give him the right to be an asshole.

erikjgilson6mo ago

I mean you could say the same thing about Dana. He's just as bad as Jones in almost every way and he's lied out his ass about this card basically since it got considered in the first place while just being a terrible overall boss. The whole thing is goofy and neither of them deserve any current credit for how things played out

wwyatt19517mo ago

I love Jones and without a doubt he is the baddest MF around and he should deserve some repect even if you don't like him.

kyle.dimond7mo ago

Yes and no. It's a hard one. The Pereira fight was the one to make but at this point, it's so unsurprising that it didn't come together.

jamie.theodosi7mo ago

Nope, he did this to himself. Keep f------ around and the trust is gonna go at some point. But Dana saying he was never ever in contention to compete on the card is utter BS and him just trying to save face.
