what a stupid statement, sacrifice Lawson for Bearman? WTAF, for one I would argue Bearman is no better, but why, if Racing Bulls are wanting to reinforce their juinor team mantra of bringing in rookies would they pull a driver in that has 2 years experience? Even more so when Tsolov is ahead of Bearman in line.

Should Oliver Bearman look to leave the Ferrari set-up or should he bide his time?
Bearman will have to wait until 2028 for a Ferrari seat

Oliver Bearman dreams of racing in red in the future, so he will keep the door open to moving to Maranello all the while Ferrari are giving him encouraging signs that a seat will be his once Lewis Hamilton retires.

I would lean towards leaving. You can't bank on getting the seat in 2028 - Hamilton might still be there or a more appealing driver like Antonelli or Norris could be on the market. If a top team like Red Bull is after you, you have to jump at the chance

Does Esteban Ocon deserve a seat on the F1 grid in 2027?

Few drivers "deserve" a seat for 2027. Ocon is not one of them. Bearman is.

He hasn't done enough since he joined Haas, even if his career beforehand was largely good

He's definitely running out of chances at Haas, but unless his performances take a nosedive, I think he could earn his way into another year. But it's all about him being able to deliver consistently this year.

A brilliant P5 for Ollie Bearman in China!
What do you think is his ceiling at Haas in 2026?
fogclimber1998138d ago
It would take a freak race for him or Ocon to get a podium this year.

Jack Doohan has a new F1 team 👀 does he deserve another shot in F1 with Haas?

His attempts at getting into Super Formula were weak! Why bring him back to F1?
ben.evans243d ago
Not for me sadly, his mistakes at Suzuka were the tipping point where it looked like he might not be cut out for F1
rebecca.braybrook243d ago
It's definitely tricky! I think he got the Alpine seat out of obligation for years of dedication, however I do think they were wrong to get rid of him so quickly! I'd like to see what he could actually do in F1!

How much have Haas improved since Ayao Komatsu took over from Guenther Steiner?
fogclimber1998138d ago
Massively! The team seems more coordinated, more like a real team. When He brought Toyota into the picture, that was a very key moment for the future of Haas F1.

Komatsu should be commended for the improvements he's made at Haas. That team looked glued to the bottom of the standings under Steiner

Significantly. He does everything Steiner did and more, I think
