Which player are you most looking forward to watching for the U18s and U21s?

Man Utd's academy is stacked with talent - Who will you be paying attention to?

seadvegar10d ago

geldroper11d ago

It all doesn't matter anymore because Carrick has showb that he has no intention to use our under 21 so I suspect all our talent will leave shortly

p_rayner18d ago

Edson de Jonge Seiros looks seriously good along with Noah Ajayi, Jay McEvoy and Junior Brown.

What are your expectations for Tyler Fletcher during the 2026/27 season?

Is he ready to contribute for Manchester United?

dancoombs125d ago

I think he will end up on loan to a Scottish club. Depends on how many signings we make

davecarey28127d ago

I would not send him out on loan in case he gets injured, but mainly because he needs to be around top midfield players to gain experience. Cup games and substitutions for now.

steveex2005131d ago

I feel both him and Shea Lacey are ready for first team football. The upcoming pre season matches should confirm it

Absolute joke that the FA Youth Cup final is being held at a 7k stadium when United offered to hold it at Old Trafford. Real, real shame.

yasou7144d ago

And poxy abu FA do nothing sensible.

Glad City are getting stick for it… selfish decision and one that surely both sets of players aren’t a fan of

WHO was Man United's man of the match in Premier League Cup final defeat?

A painful loss on penalties...

dancoombs165d ago

Once again Kukonki was faultless in defence. Unlucky with his penalty, somebody had to miss

jonny165d ago

Noah Ajayi in the first half, but Amir Ibragimov was vital in the 10-man period of the game.

How GOOD can Jack Moorhouse become?

What are your expectations for Moorhouse's career at United?

daniel.owen178d ago

We need to stay in the cup competitions longer next season. Give Moorhouse, Lacey and co some mins in the EFL and FA Cups and see how they get on

♥ 3

zeke.wolf42180d ago

He has lots of quality and is a goal threat, but it's impossible to tell until he gets a chance. Hopefully he can get a game or two next season so we can see if he can handle Prem level football. So many players have come through and gone before they've had a good chance. Just look at Garner.

♥ 2

vatsal180d ago

He seems to look better the slower/less intense the game is, which makes me worried about his elite prospects. Need to see more of him in men's football because he's outgrown the academy, but doesn't look up to it in senior football

Who was Man United U21's man of the match vs Real Madrid?

Despite a 4-2 loss, there were plenty of performances worth being excited about.

malcolmcragg148d ago

Fletcher twins are deffo not good enough for utd..🤷‍♂️ Maybe they are picked especially for their Dad

vatsal180d ago

Lacey shouldn't be playing U21s football. It's unfair for those who come up against him!

♥ 1

jonny180d ago

Madrid were petrified of Lacey, but for that goal it has to be Moorhouse...

Man Utd U21s vs Real Madrid ... Great opportunity for the young players to shine. Strong team with Shea Lacey and Chido Obi starting... Looking forward to this one!

dancoombs180d ago

2-1 at HT, Madrid pull a goal back. Set up for an interesting second half! United fully deserve the lead

Predict who will be the next Manchester United academy graduate...

Will Michael Carrick crown number 259 before this season ends?🤔

grantfeast155d ago

If Thwaites is ready put him in and we will all forgive him if he tries and fails, cheer him when he tries again and succeeds, and worship him if he becomes the player I think he will become

peterkellyslad111155d ago

Kukonki for me

Bryan Mbeumo has been blown away by JJ Gabriel...

But how excited are you by the youngster's breakthrough at Manchester United? What are your expectations?

jjflash422200d ago

I wish the media would leave this kid alone.Hes 15,let him be a kid and keep doing what he's doing away from any media glare till he's older like with Ryan giggs.

♥ 2

dale.odonnell201d ago

We all have been, Bryan. Every single one of us.

We can all see how good he is… Mbeumo has confirmed it. Difficult not to get carried away given his talent.

Noah Ajayi will be Manchester United's next attacking academy graduate... Do you agree?

whittallneil8115d ago

Carrick needs to put him in the team and give him a run of games and see what happens he can't do any worse than second.

geldroper15d ago

A 15/16byear old with attitude has to wait a long time to be a 1st team starter. If he thinks Real madrid is going to deal with his crap. Very seldom we see 15/16 year players make the first team. Hamal is a exception

knightinwhitesatin16d ago

At least he's not spitting his dummy out of his pram like a certain 15 year old who thinks he can cancel his registration and he won't get things any easier at Barcelona or Real Madrid where he will encounter a real fight for starting places,in their 1st teams

He's been playing against 18-year-olds all season, but how good will he be in three years?

fredliexmulindwa34d ago

First team

geldroper34d ago

He is not ready to play in 1st team. tooyoung and not strong enough

jdotan779d ago

Give him minutes this season, don't rush him to fast too soon.

Which Manchester United academy midfielder should be in the first-team next season?

Who is the biggest talent right now?

cmswswn2d698d ago

Jacob Devaney .. he was captaining the youngsters before his move to St.Mirren last year and has pinned down a starting position there and scored with a few assists. He can battle, pass and dribble and plays the position of a no.6 almost perfectly. At 19 it’s now his time to show he’s a Manchester United player.

innsy10134d ago

Rafe has been superb. Calm and composed, great positioning, progressive passing with quality and the lad is versatile. Has my sons name so could be slightly biased

jamesmedan67160d ago

Next season United will compete in more competition so it's the most suitable time for academy players to be use for rotation in first team especially in domestic cup competition.

dancoombs221d ago

Does Louie Bradbury have more potential than Chido Obi?

In terms of pure goals right now, he might be United's best academy striker...

bigjohno1985190d ago

Less than 400 minutes so it's far to early to tell. Give the kids a chance to find themselves on the pitch. We want all the kids to be successful and hope they can all make it, just give them time. We should support them they have enough pressure from family, club and the press. Fans should chant their names and make them feel 20 foot tall on the pitch.

♥ 1

tf232086234d ago

A fox in the box is exactly what we need and Bradbury would be ideal to bring on from the bench, when we need a goal. A super sub like Ole who can come on and cause havoc and win us the game. Come on Carrick Bradbury is what you and our team needs right now.

♥ 1

mickbuckleymb66242d ago

Yes I think that Bradbury has a great chance of making it at united, top class

Will Kai Rooney ever play for the Manchester United first team?

He's shown himself to be among the best at an U18 level, but can he reach that next level?

vatsal208d ago

I think he'll definitely debut just for the narrative. Hope he then makes himself impossible to ignore. Early signs are that his dad's name is not the only thing in his favour. Really exciting talent as well!

guz.konnieknush3208d ago

I have the conviction that he can make United's first team, provided he makes the necessary improvements in his game to convince the coaching staff.

thebaldone53213d ago

Definately

Would you give Chido Obi another chance in the first-team?

He's improved a lot for Manchester United...

geldroper63d ago

they need to sent him on loan to places as PSV Eindhoven who has champion ship competition this year.He will learn a lot there, or even Ajax Amsterdam would be good

wurler964d ago

He needs the chances to grow into the role think domestic cups will b a good starting point for him

edvinbakiri22atc70d ago

In my opinion he should develop the dribbling, physicality ad passing! Of course he needs chances to grow in confidence and hone his skills!

Prove me wrong... Sekou Kone will end up being a brilliant signing for Manchester United

Agree or disagree?

lloydymu63d ago

He will

knightinwhitesatin90d ago

If we keep loaning players out on loan to teams that only give the. a few odd .minutes or like Amass they get injured they might as well keep them at OT for the U18's or U21's where we can make sure they get enough minutes in and see wether they're making progress and seeing what INEOS have done with Nice why trust other of their clubs

♥ 1

bigjohno1985190d ago
