Not this time unless he bulks up a lot. If you remember, or not, when Rooney came he was a big boy with a aggressive attitude. Those young players are more concerned about technick then figthers believe. Rooney didn't take no crap from anybody and that is what those young players need

United have failed in recent years in bringing through young talent, and even if they do their search for instant success often undermines the young players development. Loan deals rarely seem to work, with the result often being injury, failure to be selected or no appreciable development. I forsee a failed loan deal.

The fans (and some managers) don't help when they start to jump on those players. Just look at how Mainoo gets treated. Fletcher comes in and gets mauled too. Chido brought in too early and the dropped. Heaven was scapegoated earlier this year. This isn't new, CR7 got similar abuse in first seasons. We need a manager and fans who will trust a kid to learn.

We need to just let him flourish with the u18s don't put to much pressure on him we tend to hold youngsters to high when they score a goal or do some good play and it's gets to them garnacho is a perfect example of that
