Where would Kimi Antonelli winning the 2026 title rank among F1's greatest achievements?

He could become just the fourth driver ever to win it in his second season

No … Antonellis season is not the most impressive, when compared to the drivers below who overcame massive adversities and won in amazing fashion. Jenson buttons 2008 (most amazing) Ayrton senna 1988 Michael Schumacher 2000 Sebastian Vettel 2012 (also incredible)

Alonso was better than Vettel in 2012 I'd say

Kimi continues to raise the bar and establish new benchmarks

Definitely not a one championship wonder! Lewis definitely rates him highly. I'm sure he will have more championships in the future 🙂

I'd say he'd be up there with Hamilton. Even in the best car, being the youngest world champion in history is no laughing matter, and he'd deserve all the recognition he gets!

I don’t think he will be a one and done winner like Villenueve, but I could see him matching Fangio!

He’ll be the youngest world champion by some distance, so that instantly makes it up there with the best. But the talent he’s shown this year has been unbelievable. Everyone will remember where they were when Kimi won his first title

Have to consider that Antonelli is driving the best car on the grid, but he's about to smash the youngest world champion record. It's one of the most impressive seasons I've ever seen. Russell was widely viewed as one of the top drivers in F1 coming into the season
