If this is Esteban Ocon's last season, how will his F1 career be remembered?

If Ocon in 10 years has not proven he can deliver consistent point scoring results to team managers/owners then he will obviously be overlooked for highly skilled younger drivers. Yes in this sport it is dog eat dog & the main criteria for drivers that matters is results performance that earns points which equates to millions of dollars for the teams, period

He was a talented driver that initially had to fight for everything coming from basic means but truly never given an opportunity in a good team having to fight in the lower teams.

Initially felt like he was destined for Mercedes but then Russell leapfrogged him

He can't have any complaints after losing out to Bearman

Moments of brilliance marred by acts of stupidity (taking out gasly and Perez in Monaco).to name but one.

A steady and reliable driver, and importantly, a race winner! Hard to see where else he fits now, though. Wish him the best of luck in the WEC

Had moments of brilliance. Good points finisher. Nice guy. Lacked consisteny.

That Hungary win was indeed special 🔥

Esteban Ocon is arguably a bit underrated as an F1 driver, and will leave F1 at the end of 2026 as still the only driver to win a Grand Prix since Team Enstone rebranded as Alpine.

He has always been solid, unremarkable. Feel he could have achieved a lot more in better cars, but hard to argue he continue with so much talent coming through behind him.

Ocon will be remembered as a solid midfield driver, albeit one who could be disruptive internally when things weren't going his way. It feels like he got exactly the right amount of time in F1 overall
