What do you make of Ferrari's statement in support of Fred Vasseur?

Corporate chess? Ferrari gives Fred public support to kill the paddock rumors, but in doing so, they've set a firm deadline... deliver now or the door is open for ????

Wouldn't be surprise if Fred left of his own accord either, but maybe I'm misreading it

Too often, Ferrari leave their TP isolated. I applaud them for speaking out this time

Roughly translated if we lose faith, Lewis and Fred are both gone

Lewis as well?

This will only add to the pressure on Vasseur. Now with this public backing, he has to deliver for Ferrari, and if he doesn’t, it might well be time for change

It is rather unusual that Ferrari have decided to come out in full public support of Fred Vasseur now rather than stamping out the noise when Christian Horner's interview dropped. Plus, the public vote of confidence will actually keep the spotlight on him, as Vasseur now has to prove why he deserves Ferrari's backing with Red Bull and McLaren chasing them

I assume they were hoping the Horner interview would be brushed under the rug, but instead it sparked a whole conversation about Ferrari’s leadership and a statement was needed. As we know, Ferrari are not usually ahead of the curve 😅
