Are the people 'above' Fred Vasseur the REAL problem at Ferrari?

Lewis Hamilton thinks the team principal shouldn't face all the blame for the team's issues

Ferrari have always been a thorn in their own side. The culture there is super divisive and as I've said before, until that changes, their lack of success will continue

Ferrari have had problems at the top for so long. It’s always been ‘we’re Ferrari, we’re perfectly, everyone else is wrong’. They can’t embrace change, which is exactly why Lewis struggled last year and why they’re not getting anywhere now. Vasseur has to stomach some blame, but he’s far from the main issue

Definitely, Ferrari will always be Ferrari, and putting heaps of pressure on the F1 team's leadership definitely won't help anything

Fred Vasseur (or whoever is currently the Ferrari team principal) will always come in for the most criticism as they are in the public-facing position responsible for explaining why the Scuderia have still not won an F1 drivers' title since 2007. But the hierarchy above Vasseur (mainly John Elkann) has the final say on everything that happens in Maranello.

As It should be. No different to a PL manager. Yes, there are those above Who are instrumental in decision making, but the buck stops with the manager, or the team principal, whether thats fair or not
