What are your thoughts on Esteban Ocon reportedly losing his Haas seat?

user9acfa9bb4d ago

He only got those points in the last race because colapinto took out 3 cars that were in the points. He would’ve had zero again, nice try … you still suck

Well … Ocon himself said: “I’m one of the best out there” but then he is in full blown panic as he’s been told he won’t drive for the team next year. Interesting how drivers can be mediocre sometimes for years, but when their seat is under threat the start pulling rabbits out of their hats and performance 🤷‍♂️

You have no clue grand Pa go back to your tomatoes…

Ocon and Ollie are both great drivers. I think Ollie is more likeable and the younger rookie drivers fair better with the newer/younger age demographic that is getting into the sport. Plus Ocon isn't going to deliver what it will take to get Haas higher up the back of the field

Ocon's been around for a while and driven for a number of teams, but his star is not shining so brightly now and I think he'll fade from f1 sooner than later!

It feels like a shame to lose him because he’s so consistent but he’s constantly being outshined by his younger, less experienced teammate. Ollie is 15 points above him this year and yes, the car is not great, but he’s just not pulling his weight. I personally think it was a mistake leaving Alpine…

For a start Ocon did not leave Alpine it is Bruno Taffin who sacked him one race before the end to please Gasly after the Monaco spat. At Hass Bearman get the upgrades first as his father is rich and poor money onto the team… Now you know before making a judgement on Ocon..

I think he’s in that 15-20 range of the best drivers in F1. Unforunately you can’t stay in that range for more than a few years without losing your seat

Esteban Ocon certainly still has a lot to offer an F1 team, but failing to outshine Oliver Bearman has left him vulnerable to a rising star like Rafael Camara coming in

Ocon has shown some signs of improving recently, but can't have any complaints overall. It's good to see at least one new driver given a chance. Not sure Esteban finds his way back onto the grid, think it could be another Tsunoda situation for him
