Kimi Raikkonen’s son, Robin, has joined Red Bull’s driver academy from 2027 🚨

They’ll replace Verstappen next year 😳😁

Another karting talent being picked up by a junior program. All of the larger team programs have someone like this. Far too early to throw any expectations on this kid's shoulders. Good luck to him. At least he has very level headed parents!

The ice boy? 😂🧊

Would be crazy to see him in F1 some day. Interesting to see how Raikkonen will deal with any Red Bull shenanigans

This is what I’m most interested about with this deal. Wonder what sort of input Kimi would have with Red Bull. Would be crazy to see Robin in F1 one day

I always find it so interesting how powerful genetics can be in sport. Robin is only 11, so it will probably be a good five years or so before we have a sense of whether he can make it to F1

Your right but if I am correct Mercedes signed Kimi at 11 yrs old,

Why’s he smiling? Has he not learned anything from Kimi?

Kimi clearly believes Red Bull are the right home for Robin to further his development, and it will b very interesting to see what he can achieve when the time comes to switch to single-seaters

I think this is a really smart move by Red Bull! Robin is already showing great promise in his racing career and he's got a great mentor in his dad! It was only a matter of time before one of the teams snapped him up!
