What was Liverpool's biggest mistake of the 2026 summer transfer window?
Some exciting deals for the Reds, but there was SO much more they needed to do...

A DM and RW were needed, but I have little care for splashing the cash on undesirable replacements just for the sake of it. Smart decision to let things be for now.

Overall, I think we stayed about the same while Arsenal and Man City improved. We basically replaced what we've lost up front and in the middle of defense, but I don't see an improved squad. I hope Ekitike comes back sooner than expected because we are going to need a lot of goals based on how soft the defense is thus far.

That’s definitely true and it’s generous to say that we stayed the same even. Tired of them leaving us short every single summer

I think not signing a RB. Frimpong already looks out of his depth and it’s only been two games

Yep, and I’m just not convinced Bradley is the answer either. Good player but in my opinion he isn’t quite good enough to be a regular starter

In terms of the big picture, the volume of signings just wasn't enough. I came into the window thinking we needed six, and that was assuming Jones would stay

Surely just stick Gravenberch in DM? More concerned about the full back areas, we are leaking goals because of that weakness!

We need a DM and have done since Fabinho left. It’s multiple windows or failure and I just don’t understand why.

Most seem to have failing to sign a DM as the biggest issue but for me it's right-back. We were not settled at all there last season and it looks like it's going to be a similar theme this time already. Can't understand the determination to overlook areas of the squad that obviously need improving. So frustrating and just feels like groundhog day

That whole right-hand side just looks a mess tbh. Really strange planning
