How will you remember Richard Hughes' time as Liverpool's sporting director?
Best signing? Worst signing? Mistakes that were made?

I won't

As a man who went for the best rather than what was best for the team.

Well one has to know first who are the others that are involved in bringing players. This years players who are bought performance can't evaluated without playing one year. In total, the jury is out and evaluate him at the end of the season.

True, and that is why I think it would be a big mistake for Liverpool to promote any of his assistants (David Woodfine, Julian Ward). They've all been involved in the mess, and we need a fresh set of eyes on everything

Good riddance to bad rubbish, that's what Hughes tenure at Liverpool reminded me off, I'm glad to see the back of him, he didn't have a clue on recruitment, he brought in Kerkez and Frimpong and that's enough said on his recruitment, bloody dire,

A genuinely awful appointment. I don’t think it really could have gone much worse despite the title win. Hard to blame him fully as it could be a wider structural problem within the hierarchy, but just seemed so scattergun. Best signing probably Isak despite the big fee and struggles, worst was Frimpong. Who the heck signed that off! Good riddance
