How do you feel about Jon Rahm potentially returning to the PGA Tour?

tomnorris0271mo ago

Couldn’t say i care less one way or the other. I really lost interest in all this since since Liv started oh I thought it was a bit Mickey Mouse Greg normally got out at the right time.

getjeffrey1mo ago

The PGA tour has more little bitches than any other pro sport. They could all use a good ass whooping.

sschamm10151mo ago

Sorry, meant to say, "Donate winning to charity for the first year only".

jamesshearman231mo ago

Great news to have one of the best players back on the best tour. Will be fun to see him compete with Scheffler and Rory

jamesguelcher1mo ago

The PGA should tell Rahm that all his future Tour earnings will go directly into a legal fund that he can use to try and get the $150 million LIV still owes him. Jon Rahm sold his soul to LIV, and they're not even going ro fully compensate him for it. Schadenfreude.

jamesshearman231mo ago

I’m all for fining him but he’s not going to be as motivated to play well if he won’t receive his prize money. I want to see him on top form competing with Scheffler

sschamm10151mo ago

He went for the money, let him play in the PGA but have all of his earnings go to charity.

jamesshearman231mo ago

All of his earnings forever? That seems a bit extreme. I’d rather be paid a huge one-off fine and be done with it

freddie1mo ago

Don’t let him! He’s made his bed, now lie in it

callum_boyle1mo ago

It’s obviously good news for the PGA and you want to see the best players playing against each other. As for his return I don’t think he should be getting a free pass. Think he should have to start at the bottom of the rankings and work his way back up to the top

callum_boyle1mo ago

I don’t think players will also be happy to see someone who jumped ship to sportswash being allowed back in so easily

tom.procter1mo ago

Be good to see him back. He’s one of the best and it’s surely a win for golf

kierandoody1mo ago

Does he need a punishment? It’s his career, he can play where he wants. It’s only a positive for the PGA Tour, we just want the best playing the best.

jordan.harris1mo ago

I think there would be a lot of resentment from the players who stayed if Rahm could pocket the best part of $400m and return a few years later without some sort of penalty

markmarston1mo ago

Good for the sport… big name so more eyeballs!

leeclarke05081mo ago

Regardless of where you sit on the whole LIV stuff, getting top players at events will ultimately sell tickets. Rahm is a top, top player and having him back on the tour can only be a good thing.

seanfisher1mo ago

Golf is the winner, all the best players back in the PGA Tour is a big win

charlesjones1mo ago

Why should he be punished at all? Fair game to go and play elsewhere I think

chillout1mo ago

Are you in favour of the European Super League, or Infantino’s privatised World Cup ?

chillout1mo ago

Do you think being hung, drawn and quartered will be enough to satisfy most golf fans ? What kind of reception can he expect if he does end up back on the tour ? Is he a big draw, and is he really still a contender for Majors and big titles ?

jordan.harris1mo ago

I think most fans will now be pleased to see him back. On his day, he’s one of Scottie and Rory’s only rivals. But yeah, he definitely needs to prove that going to LIV hasn’t knocked him down a level permanently

jonny1mo ago

He is one of the best in the world, always brilliant to see extra quality added 🏌He shouldn’t be punished at all

kyle.archer1mo ago

For the good of the game, it will be great if the LIV defectors return (after paying a big 'fine') and are competitive. The sport needs all of the best players in one place.

johnverrall111mo ago

It can only be good news. The fine is okay. Let’s just get everyone back playing again. I’m not even bothered about him sitting out of signature events. I just want to see him going head to head with the best on the PGA Tour again now

george.patten1mo ago

Think it’s good for the sport. Hope LIV dies now and everyone can move on

walkercharlie8281mo ago

I thought I'd be frustrated when these guys eventually returned but I'm actually pretty excited. Cannot wait to see him back

antonymmartin841mo ago

Great. Golf fans deserve to see the best players in the world competing against each other most weeks

deveryneville1mo ago

well that means there is probably no LIV 2.0 worth going on with. Now what is Bryson going to do. As for the Aussies Smylie still has DP but Smith and Leishman are in trouble , Not sure about Lucas

deveryneville1mo ago

Well that surprised me he made a deal, but a $25 million fine is nothing to sneeze about. But for me I am happy he will be back as he is too good not to be playing.

jordan.harris1mo ago

Hopefully he can get back to his best quickly now!

jordan.harris1mo ago

It’s a shame for the DP World Tour, but I suppose a heavy fine is all the PGA Tour can really do if they’re happy to have him back straight away
