Plenty of candidates, but who was your Man of the Match against Brighton?
creativekaddychrist4w ago
MARTINEZ... HE'D NOT EVEN TRAINED WITH THE TEAM AND MADE EXCELLENT SAVES IN THE MATCH.

Im glad xabi got to see fofana for what he is,young josh is a much better defender, will tackle and has the head of a top professional on his shoulders

I agree Brighton reserves were the better team by far. Chelsea were all over the place trying to compete.

So it's ok for opposing fans to slag x players off but not for players to enjoy scoring against them?

Sell Enzo Fernandez on time. And let be focus without him. Come on CHELSEA

I would give Palmer higher than a 6!

Lavia. An unsung hero who is proving when he's fit, what a valuable and capable player he really is

Defense is by far the worst of any Chelsea side at this rate I can't see this side win anything.

Not sure why everyone is so happy about the game yesterday, it was a good result but Brightons reserves could easily have won, the defence, like many games last season, looked all over the place, and I wonder if people would have been so forgiving if Garnacho had switched off as often as Rogers and Palmer did in the first two games?

Joao pedro

Jao pedro was by far the man of the match. Big up to the boys

Gusto didn't work in the middle for me. And Reece is hit and miss there. He always seems to play more sideways and back than you would expect. How about trying Josh in middle? In defence, he always impresses me with forward looking runs and passes but when required in comes a perfectly timed tackle. He could do the same in the middle maybe? Just a thought.

We have barco natural midfield er surely he has to play to give us some midfield control. Gusto should not be anywhere near the first team

It was Pedro Neto

Palmer 6 is harsh when he scored a great goal! Thought Lavia was brilliant - so glad we’ve kept him

With three at the back...Palmer was playing 10 and left Lavia isolated with the impressive Brighton defense...that could work if it is Caicedo and maybe playing a less ball playing team...thirdly the team doesn't need Neto anymore forget that he scored a goal we need to move past that low I.Q football style of play he was at fault for Brighton 1st goal
perhimona1mo ago
And played some nonsense ball...fourth, Gusto must not play full match is impact drops off when time goes dip and the team is under pressure though i think he played full match today because when Alonso saw that the midfield was leaking in needed to bring in James and Caicedo first before any other changes...unfortunately Caicedo got injured

Hato was the man of this match if not for him we would have conceded more... secondly the defense wasn't the problem instead the midfield Brighton controlled the game and Chelsea was lucky to get away with a win...if not for Hato and Martinez...Alonso shouldn't experiment playing tree 4 attacking players while playing 1 pivot midfielder again.

Thought Joao Pedro was fantastic, that attack is looking scary. Not fully convinced by the defence though
perhimona1mo ago
Defense was solid...apart from Colwill...midfield was the problem...though nothing to border much about as Caicedo didn't play plus Alonso decided to experiment playing only one midfielder which expose us to the goals

Chelsea are definitely not boring to watch. Just a bit more solidity at the back and they’re a genuine title contender
jamesshearman231mo ago
I’m hoping Caicedo in midfield will help a lot 🤞
