We are now only realising how much Casemiro carried us

I think the biggest miss from United is a dominant figure to keep the players in their position. Too many players running around like headless chickens without any positive contribution. Hopefully Carlos will bring that.

I think everyone knew how important Casemiro’s presence was in front of the back four. It doesn’t help that Baleba (Casemiro’s replacement) has been injured since the start of the season.

I think there is a massive culture within the squad at the moment of blaming everyone/everything instead of manning up and taking personal responsibility. Would never of happened under Roy Keane. He would have smashed the culprits into oblivion.

Casemiro wasn’t sitting in front of the back four under Carrick to be fair, he was bombing forward and leaving Kobbie to do all the dirty work

Casemiro brought a lot of qualities we haven’t replaced. Aggression, aerial threat in both boxes, leadership. He was on the wane and I’m not sure we should have kept him, but I agree we are missing him

It was the right time to let him go, there will be a lot of pressure on Baleba, I hope last season was just a blip for him, otherwise it could be a long season, we also need 2 new fullbacks, not quite sure how Dalot has played so many games for us 🙄

Baleba is the missing piece in that midfield. Baleba Maino and we are good to go. Baleba is an enforcer. Despite his height he is still good on Ariel duels. I can't wait to see him back and fit. And probably would be getting a lot of red cards too cus of our midfield are too porous. Mind you Bruno Fernandes is 32. Legs are going gradually
