Did Bruno just prove Portugal are better without Ronaldo?

Where would Portugal have finished at the World Cup if Ronaldo didn't go? 👀

Who cares - just come back safe to OT

Ronaldo is starting to realize he is not top dog anymore. He still wants to stay for Uero 28 but that is not going to happen. Time to retire from Portugal and make his 1000 goals and call it quits

Portugal would have been better without Ronaldo at the World Cup in the summer. Bruno was magic in the No.10 role last night. That pass for his second assist was something else, picking out the smallest man on the pitch. 🔥

Bruno was great today but he doesn’t need to prove that Portugal are better without Ronaldo 😂 Credit to Jorge Jesus for showing Ronaldo who’s the boss. So much more fluidity to their system without Ronaldo

Hopefully Bruno did enough to convince Portugal to rest him next game 😂 Definitely a better team without Ronaldo, no doubt

I wouldn't hold your breath, mate. He made everything tick for Portugal in the final third. Moreover, he'll probably be in Jesus' ear, saying he wants to play every minute. Carrick needs to put a leash on him after turning 32.
