Rough draw but one of those that getting out of this cup early will probably be a positive

Ouch! Though it’s all about PL survival this season anyway

Not the draw Ipswich wanted. Out in the third round unless the Tractor Boys cause an upset, which I would welcome.

Terrible draw… but it’s not a priority for Ipswich this season. They’ll benefit from getting knocked out early. Full focus on staying up by any means

Talk about terrible luck. 😭

Would expect Ipswich to rotate here and focus on survival

Cup football. They could surprise them. 👀

I remember Arsenal played Ipswich away in the semi finals back in 2011. We went with a fairly strong line-up with Fabregas, Koscielny, Walcott and Wilshere all starting, but still lost 1-0. Luckily there was a second leg and we blew them away. The game this season should be a lot more comfortable though

Portman Road should look forward to watching Max Dowman pulling the stringes

I don’t think Ipswich will want to place too much emphasis on the Carabao Cup, survival in the Prem has to be the priority!

But surely this is there only real shot of getting any kind of major silverware? 🤔

Easy win for Arsenal. 3-0 even if they play the kids

Depends if Ipswich end up going full strength for the tie. 👀

Under early-era Arteta this would’ve screamed Arsenal defeat, but not this time

Two teams that had strong opening weekends in the Prem. If Arsenal are tempted to rotate the squad too much due to European commitments, they could regret it. Ipswich will be up for it.
