Thought they were fine for the most part! Couple of silly errors but decent after that. The same standard of performance against poorer sides and they’ll be ok

Just unlucky to be honest again. Scherpan tho, not a fan

Wouldn't be too worried at this stage. Every Ipswich fan would have taken three points from those first three games

I don’t think you can lose two games against ‘top’ sides in better fashion than that. Still plenty of positives if you’re an Ipswich fan

Ipswich had nothing going for them in attack.

Definitely some areas to work on for Ipswich, but I thought Liverpool played well. Much bigger games to come for the Tractor Boys!

Shame they started so poorly (goalkeeper certainly didn’t help). They made a game of it after that

A goalkeeping error like that 6 minutes in is never going to bode well. Two games in a row where they haven’t reacted well to setbacks at all

Any free-agent keepers going? 😬

Loss to Liverpool isn’t going to define their season. There will be other games

Yes, these aren’t must win games for Ipswich - but losing can become a habit.

Just no cutting edge in front of goal, and punished by a world class striker (on his day). Positive signs but bit of a reality check

Scherpen hardly covered himself in glory for Liverpool's goals, but Ipswich's pressing left A LOT to be desired at times, as well

Reality bites.

Thought Ipswich looked ok in parts, but just didn’t have the quality up front to really hurt us

Not the game to be judged on but keeper has to do more for the first goal!
