Ipswich fans are feeling relief in bouncing back to the Premier League, loyalty to their manager, and realism for next season. What does the club need to do to be in with a chance of surviving next time out ?

Need a transfer window like Sunderland’s, or they’re cooked.

As many others have said, spending money has to be the priority for Ipswich during this upcoming transfer window. The Ipswich owners do have an advantage over the other two promoted clubs, as they can learn from what went wrong when they were relegated a couple of years ago!

Agreed - If they don’t spend they’ll be straight back in the championship

They’ve got an excellent young manager in McKenna so I would be full trust in him with the recruitment this summer!

Sign top flight standard players to help McKenna survive. We already know he’s a top manager, but he would have kept Ipswich in the top flight had he been given better players after getting promoted.

It sounds simple - but they need to sign some Premier League level players. They didn’t last time and went straight back down. Leeds and Sunderland showed how it’s done.

Spend money, don’t be stubborn. There are some exceptions to this rule but that’s usually the key

Ipswich need a miracle to stay up. Simple as that

McKenna can’t be as stubborn with his playing style. Sometimes a different plan is required. And obviously… spend some serious cash

Need some horrible big lads in midfield and at the back.

Spend, spend, spend. Sad it’s come to that but don’t want to be another Burnley! Anyone think they can do a Sunderland?

Not a chance can they do a Sunderland. Straight back down
