How big a failure would it be if Aprilia lose the 2026 title to Marc Marquez from here?
After his win in Brno, Marc Marquez is just 40 points behind Marco Bezzecchi!

Massive failure since the lead was so big early on in the season and all they had to do is finish in the top 5 for the remainder of the season to secure the title. This is reminding me of this year's Nba Final between the knicks and spurs.

Epic. Collosal failure. The real failure wont be the fact that they lost. The real failure is that in a long time someone had the goods, all that is needed at the core. A bike faster than Ducati, 4 riders who can go fast on it. And they still failed. Which would further go to point out that the championship is not all about JUST speed and going fast.

One of the great MotoGP bottle jobs - Bez can’t afford to have that reputation, he needs to close it out this year
Here are our rider ratings after a sensational Czech Grand Prix! Which score would you change?
tyler.rowlinson105d ago
Martin deserves more than a 4, to finish in the top 10 after a double LLP is a decent result. I'd switch Marquez and Ogura's ratings around, Ogura was impressive but Marc was just that level above
david.comerford105d ago
Think this is harsh on Martin considering the double LLP. The damage to his weekend was probably done in qualifying more so than the race
aaditya.krishnamurthy105d ago
I'm not sure Ogura earned a 10 with his performance, but it's hard to argue that he didn't look incredible, and even scared Marquez a bit towards the end!

Marc Marquez makes it back-to-back wins at the Czech Grand Prix! What was your main takeaway from the race?
tyler.rowlinson105d ago
Marquez is back, that is for certain. Aprilia should be very worried now after two disappointing weekends. Also, Ogura proved again that he is a serious talent, that maiden win is surely coming

As a Marc fan I never discounted the #93 anyway. I always rooted for him to win. I think he doesn't need 44 races to win titles. Further, Aprillia have exposed they're noobs in championship battles because they never were part of one ever. Ducati are where they are for a reason. Anyone discounting this fact is at blunder.

That Aprilia are cooked. There's debate about how fit Marquez is, it's probably somewhere between 80 and 90 percent. But even that's too good for them. I don't see how they win it from here unless he gets injured again.
What are your thoughts on Marco Bezzecchi being BANNED from the Czech GP?
Bezzecchi struck a marshal after crashing out of the Sprint
skeletor55555104d ago
Marco was wrong, but I can understand the frustration, those bike's aren't cheap, and the adrenaline is pumping.... I think the race ban was a bit harsh.
ardashjoseph104d ago
Very very unprofessional behaviour from Bez and absolutely deserved
aaditya.krishnamurthy105d ago
Look frustration is one thing, but under no circumstances can you PUT HANDS on a Marshal! That poor guy didn't deserve that at all, and Bezzecchi looked like an arrogant fool for that. Completely deserved.

What does Marco Bezzecchi have to change after crashing out of the Czech Grand Prix Sprint?
The Aprilia rider's incident at Brno was his fourth crash from nine Sprints in 2026
kyle.archer106d ago
Marco Bezzecchi only made a small mistake, but it was him then trying to carry the speed through the corner that saw him crash in the Brno Sprint. So, it seems like Bezzecchi's mindset in Sprint Races needs to change, otherwise he will keep leaving points on the table in the title fight.

Francesco Bagnaia wins the Brno Sprint 🏆 But who was your rider of the race, and why?
kyle.archer106d ago
Francesco Bagnaia was largely flawless, but Ai Ogura was very impressive to come back from losing the lead off the grid and seeing the Italian edge away to being hot on the Ducati rider's heels for the final laps in the fight for victory.

Bagnaia for me, when he took the lead at the start I feared we would see him go backwards once tyre deg kicked in. Brilliant to see him hang on, though.

Alex Marquez withdrew on his return from a C7 vertebrae injury after just two rounds out - Should MotoGP impose a minimum return date?
marcus.chan106d ago
For sure something needs to be done to protect the riders’ health and safety. Good decision from Marquez and Gresini to miss the remainder of this weekend!
ahambly23107d ago
For sure, but even if there was to be some sort of changes made to the injury return protocol, would it even be respected? MotoGP showed a clear disregard of their concussion rules with Martin in Barcelona.
beech.karl80107d ago
It should definitely be considered. But if this was Marc and not Alex everyone would be saying he's a alien, he's not human and so on.
If Marc Marquez's 2019 Czech pole lap isn't the best in MotoGP history, then what is?
Marquez was 2.5s clear on slick tyres in the wet!
kyle.archer109d ago
It is hard to overlook Marc Marquez setting an at-the-time COTA lap record for Honda in 2015 after having to park his first bike and sprint down the pit lane, before only just getting back out in time to attempt a flying lap.
Which rider took the greatest Czech Grand Prix victory in MotoGP history?
Let us know why in the comments!
david.comerford110d ago
Got to give some love to Brad Binder in 2020 - only his third race in the sport. Crazy
kyle.archer110d ago
Dani Pedrosa will believe that his Czech Grand Prix win from 2012 stands head and shoulders over the rest after the Spaniard triumphed in a titanic tussle around Brno with Jorge Lorenzo that year by only 0.178 seconds, while Cal Crutchlow in P3 finished 12.343s adrift!

Who is going to win the Czech Grand Prix, and why?
marcus.chan109d ago
Im backing a rejuvenated Marquez to go back-to-back!
tyler.rowlinson111d ago
Really interested to see Marquez this weekend. After Hungary, I'm keen to see how he fares with more right-handers. But with that said, I think Aprilia will be the ones to beat, and I fancy Martin for the win.
lights111d ago
That can be better answered after we see FP1 and Practice1 but I don't see why Marc won't be at the forefront. The Aprillias could very well be there but, at least 2 of them, but the only thing that Aprillia have that is better than Marc at this point is their inconsistency about everything. So let's see.
