Villa at home - should be an exciting Midlands derby. Villa don’t seem to start a season well these days, and will also have European obligations the week before. Great opportunity for the Sky Blues.

Can’t imagine this will be either team’s priority but if Cov are going to beat Villa this season, it’s surely in this game

With Villa holding a car boot sale at Villa Park it looks like Cov will only have to beat their academy side.

Coventry cannot really be facing Villa at a better time. Got to take full advantage of this while they can

Really fancy Coventry for this one! Capitalise on Villa’s chaos

I reckon Villa will have recovered in time for that one. Need a few signings before the end of the window though!

It could be exciting, or it could be a chance for both teams to rotate their line-ups as they focus on the bigger priorities

Definitely a great opportunity for Coventry, but how seriously will Lampard take the cup competitions? If he goes full strength, Coventry could get a win

I must admit the Carabao Cup was very low down on my priorities in terms of caring as a fan, but now we have Villa I will certainly be more invested!

Newly promoted PL sides tend not to pay a great deal of attention to the cups, instead focusing on survival - Villa on the other hand due a cup win. Can only see it going one way

Yep sort of game that Emery tends to throw too

Could easily win that, given Villa’s current situation. Home draw is a massive boost

Nasty draw that I think. Villa will take the cups seriously I reckon and still a very good side.
