Coventry lose 5-0 at home to Brighton... How do you rank our chances of staying up now?

pranav.shahaney3w ago

It’s looking harder with each passing game. As good a job as Lampard has done, he has always struggled in the Premier League. Need someone better

peter.lynch3w ago

I give you zero percent chance 🥶

matthew.johns2w ago

I wish I could argue against you, but unfortunately I feel exactly the same after yesterday’s performance 😬

lee.connor3w ago

They will go down. Said it from day one. They are far too open to compete at this level and get punished.

markmarston3w ago

Been left with a below bar squad… Hull brought in 17 odd players. Not sure why Coventry were so quiet in the summer… doesn’t look encouraging

james.brooke3w ago

Theyll go down with record goals conceded

matthew.johns3w ago

Might be record lowest scorers as well tbh!

matthew.johns3w ago

It’s becoming very deflating. Thought we created some decent chances in the first half, but we don’t look like a Premier League side at all. Stupid and selfish from Awoniyi to do what he did, which ultimately killed the game off. Tough to see where our first goal is going to come from, let alone our first points…

tom.procter3w ago

Expected a lot more from Coventry. Obvs still early days but brutal start for Frank

daviescallum423w ago

Sad to see Lampard looking so downbeat, but I just don’t think he’s cut out for this level. Doesn’t help that neither are his Cov squad

camerondesc13w ago

Definitely look the worst out of the three promoted sides. Hope frank can turn it around.

daviescallum423w ago

Yeah I really hope he can, he seemed a really nice bloke, just not a great manager

kilham.max3w ago

Pretty horrendous start. Can’t see them staying up. Very rarely can you start this badly and survive.

daviescallum423w ago

They just have no patterns at all. They’re not defensive, not high pressing. Stuck in between and you you’re neither

shamanth.jayaram3w ago

No chance they stay up now. Still think they should stick with Lampard though. Go down and come back up much more prepared

jonny3w ago

I really expected better from Lampard, unfortunately it’s a slippery slope and it will be tough to build any confidence in this side after the first few games!

kyle.dimond3w ago

Very worrying signs. You wouldn’t expect them to beat Brighton but they’ve not scored a goal and I’m not sure where they’re going to come from. The real test will be if Spurs score against them next month 😂😂

kyle.archer3w ago

Coventry were always going to struggle to stay up, but getting turned over at home to Brighton will surely make Frank feel uncomfortable

dakir.thanveer3w ago

It was already a difficult job. But if anyone can get them to stay up, it's Lampard. Wouldn't entertain any talk of a sack just yet

james.brooke3w ago

Based on what?

george.patten3w ago

Agree with that. He needs to get off the mark soon though…

chillout3w ago

Looks desperate now. They would have to pull off one of the greatest comebacks in history now to avoid the drop. Southampton is the only club to have lost the first four games after promotion and survived.

daviescallum423w ago

What season was that?

george.patten3w ago

Might be a bit early to say, but it’s hard to see Cov staying up. Need to regroup fast. Not sure I’d back Frank to turn it around

eoin3w ago

Oof. Hull look miles better, which i wouldnt have expected. Lampard has a real job on his hands...

daviescallum423w ago

I think Lampard might be the problem sadly
