A lot can change in over a decade, and with Renault no longer in F1 as a manufacturer, he doesn't have to deal with that awkwardness. Interested to see how he would get on with Mercedes though, given their rivalry

Christian Horner's issue with Renault boiled down to the engines that the brand provided Red Bull at the time. But since the factory Renault F1 engine division has now closed, his focus would be on building Alpine into a competitive team without any hangover of those gripes.
