How did you feel about the New York crowd's treatment of Wyndham Clark?

I disagree that the rude behavior from fans is simply a byproduct of golf’s growing popularity. Increased attendance should not excuse a decline in sportsmanship or the increasingly hostile environment we are seeing at these events.

I think New Yorkers should show more respect to the players , I was born and raised in New York and unfortunately New Yorkers are known for their disrespect, we need to welcome our guests and change that image.

Do you think more golf events should be allowed to go back to New York? Or just stop them going there now?

Low class people in my opinion. No place for that in golf

Sometimes I think golfers are the most protected people in sports. You ever seen an away game in literally any other sport? It’s 10x worse than anything Wyndham went through yesterday

Comparing individual sports to team sports are totally different. You have what many refer to as 'America's teams' which helps develop an immediate hate. The haters usually hate the cities more than anything else. And if they're consistent winners, they're usually hated even more. A golfer, tennis player, they're on their own.

Not bothered at all. So what they don’t like him? As long as they kept quiet during his swing, I don’t mind

I think it crossed the line, no place in golf for shouts like the ones aimed at Clark. Fair play to him for that reaction.

I didn’t like it tbh. I’m not a fan of Clark at all and wanted to see him throw it away, but it’s another issue altogether when you’re giving him stick as he’s playing

Actions have consequences, and no matter how much Wyndham has tried to dodge them, these are his consequences. You can try and move on, you can try and shrug it off, but people don't have to like you.

People also don't have to wash their hands after using the bathroom. In the end, it was appalling. He didn't do anything other than what he enjoys doing. Fans need to just grow up. I doubt that folks here would enjoy being boo'd while at work.
