I don't think this is too bad to be honest. From what I can tell, it was just there being a lot of people who were excited to see him that caused some issues. Rare case of Strickland getting a pass.

If he had a ticket to the fan zone then it shouldn’t be an issue. I can just imagine it was a security concern and that’s why he was taken out. Rare occasion where I think he maybe didn’t actually do anything wrong
