Little premature is day. George lost to Matt Serra and overcame. Sean looked like a flash in the pan too. Chamaev has plenty of time to succeed again.

Definitely not. Just a terrible weight cut after bulking up loads for a LHW fight. I am actually think if these two were to rematch Khamzat would win.

How does a guy that wrestles his whole life and not long ago was able to cut to 170 and rag doll people suddenly have a bad weight cut when he only has to cut to 185? Especially when hes from the basic lineage and part of the world where they know how to cut weight the best? I just think hes not on the level people believed.

Super close fight. Could've gone either way. But he has to sort out his weight. Going into a title fight and having to cut 37 pounds just makes him unable to wrestle for the amount he needs to.

I expect Khamzat to bounce back. Will give him the benefit of the doubt. My guesss is he had a really bad weight cut and his performance was impacted by it.

I find it hard to say he didn't live up to the promise when he won a title in completely dominant fashion. I expected a lot more in the Strickland fight so there are definitely some big question marks

For sure. He can fix that by having a long light heavyweight reign, but I'm not as confident that he can do that as I once was

Strickland' has excellent take down defence and Chimaev had a horrible weight cut. He looked like he was going to flop on the scales. I expect him to do better at light heavy weight. He won't gas as easy.
