If Sean Strickland is able to stop Khamzat Chimaev's dominant wrestling, how much of a chance do you give him?🤔
Sean Strickland is believed to have the striking advantage over Khamzat Chimaev.

Sean should use his knees more often to defend against a takedown; if he times it right, he might be able to land one on Hazmat's head. IMO the Russians seem to lose focus after a couple of good shots to the head, be it knee, elbow, or fist.

If Sean makes it through the initial rush. He can win this.

Feels like we've said this about every one of Chimaev's opponents since 2022 and he keeps on winning

If he is able to stop those takedowns, its going to be a long night for the Chechen. I give him 80% chance.

It's his only chance of victory to stop the takedowns and tire Chimaev out. If he can't tire him out he has zero chance. If he can tire him out I would favour him for the victory.

I do think Chimaev’s striking is being a bit underrated by fans in this matchup. Strickland’s striking is unique but very basic.

He's got a big chance if he can stop Chimaev's takedowns or get back to his feet but that's a huge if. It's crucial he makes Chimaev work for takedowns, that'll allow him to get the better of the striking

I’d say if Strickland can weather the early storm, I give him a 40% chance of winning.

I think if Strickland can keep it on the feet or at least get back to his feet and get into round 3 it's game on.
