What are your thoughts on some athletes being given a bye straight through to the semi-final?

Yeah I don’t agree with this. I imagine a lot of the competitors would want every single chance to fine-tune themselves in a competitive setting as well

It’s nonsense. Why should they have an advantage over the other athletes?

I agree with Greg. They already have a head start by being one of the best in Europe and should compete with everyone else. I feel bad for those who buy tickets and then don’t get to see them because of the fact they get a bye too
