I know its not the reason why they lost. But I cant figure out why Wemby boxes out on free throws by leaning into guys with his back to the basket. His height alone should be enough to get the boards on missed free throws. Robinsons offensive board was huge in that game

A lack of mental stability. A common theme is that the Spurs look unstoppable at one stage before crashing out and throwing away leads the next. A lot of talent in a young team but they need to not lose their heads
