Predict Wemby's box score numbers for Year 4 👇👽

eoin9d ago

Its his league now. 27ppg 5apg 12 rpg the usual best-in-league defense

Who do you think is going to be the Spurs' surprise of the season?

A rookie, a bench guy breaking into the rotation, or a starter ready to take a leap - you decide 👇

fullcourtpress20d ago

Fox. People remember the Finals and the Finals only, but he was an All Star last season. Now he has a chip on his shoulder...

eoin21d ago

Nothing wemby could do would surprise me at this stage. I think its gonna be Harper. I know everyone rates him, but i think his scoring is gonna take a huge jump. And his minutes. To the point where Hes one of the better scoring guarda in the league

Which Spurs legend would you add to the current roster? ⏩

Who would pair best with Wemby?

fullcourtpress37d ago

Duncan is the sensible pick, but Manu or even George Gervin makes more basketball sense

Will Tarris Reed Jr. challenge Luke Kornet for the backup center spot?

jamesshearman2374d ago

What did you make of his summer league performances? He looked good to me!

Who should the Spurs sign in free agency? They need third-string PGs and Cs. Do we like Brandon Williams? Or should they bring back McLaughlin, Waters, or Biyombo?

aaditya.krishnamurthy91d ago

Brandon Williams would be a disaster, I wouldn’t trust him in a playoff game. And we can’t have two PGs who can’t be trusted in playoff games now that The Fox isn’t leaving. I’d go with a veteran PG who is looking for a new team, personally, maybe a Jrue Holidat type if Portland are willing to trade now that they have four PGs

dancoombs91d ago

Williams could be a nice fit - I like what he did with the Mavs during his time there

Tobias Harris has joined the Spurs! Give us your reaction to the news 👇

Tobias Harris has agreed to a two-year, $31m deal.

aaditya.krishnamurthy91d ago

Can’t believe we sacrificed cap space we could have used for LEBRON JAMES for TOBIAS HARRIS. He’ll be useful in the playoffs but I wanted my glorious king and the alien as teammates

Skip Bayless let rip at Victor Wembanyama after the NBA Finals - Are any of his criticisms fair?

How long will the Finals hurt Wemby's reputation for?

fullcourtpress37d ago

Those engagement checks are still chasing

eoin111d ago

Bayless makes his living off hating on the most popular players, this doesn't surprise me one bit. Everyone praised wembys mentality when they were winning, now it's too much?

jamesshearman23111d ago

Skip’s gone too far as he always does but I generally agree. Wemby wasn’t good enough and that’s why they didn’t win

Give us one reason why you think the San Antonio Spurs lost the NBA Finals to the New York Knicks 🤔

kiemenjoe112d ago

I know its not the reason why they lost. But I cant figure out why Wemby boxes out on free throws by leaning into guys with his back to the basket. His height alone should be enough to get the boards on missed free throws. Robinsons offensive board was huge in that game

jamesshearman23113d ago

Víctor Wembanyama. Why is nobody saying it? He’s meant to be the best player in the world and he was outplayed by Jalen Brunson. It’s as simple as that

dancoombs113d ago

Home advantage in the NBA Finals and lose all three. Inexcusable

Do you share Victor Wembanyama's optimism the Spurs can still win the NBA Finals?

Only one team has ever come back from a 3-1 series deficit in the Finals

kiemenjoe114d ago

I love the optimism, but I just think the way they lost in game 4 is too emotionally draining. Would love to see this at least go back to New York for another game, but dont see the Spurs even getting to game 7

david.comerford114d ago

I remember Jimmy Butler saying this in a similar position vs the Nuggets in 2023, I just can't see it now

walkercharlie828114d ago

I think they can do it. Love his confidence

Charles Barkley let rip at the 'dumbest' San Antonio Spurs after their Game 4 loss to the Knicks. Was he fair?

david.comerford115d ago

The Knicks were a defensive rock in the second half, but it felt like the Spurs took so many bad shots. It comes back to what I've said before about poise

walkercharlie828115d ago

Fox's play actually reminds me of what could have been with the Cavs in 2016. If Kyrie turns the ball over there, is that the most costly dumb play in NBA history?

walkercharlie828115d ago

Totally agree. You can only blow that sort of lead with some truly dumb decisions, and it's not the first time this series

Absolute choke job from the Spurs in Game 4 - did they just blow the series?

david.comerford115d ago

I watched the game back knowing the outcome and that Fox turnover late in the third made me wince

ahambly23115d ago

The type of choke that will implode a team

jamesshearman23116d ago

The series is over and can we please stop calling Wemby the best player in the world!

If the Spurs win Game 4 I think they'll win the series Do you agree?

kiemenjoe117d ago

I agree with that. But I don't think they win tonight. I think they lose tonight take game 5, and the Knicks win it in 6. The league would love to have the Knicks finish this off at MSG

aaditya.krishnamurthy117d ago

Honestly I don’t want to jinx it, but I certainly hope that the first two games end up being their learning experience and they pull a Bucks 2021 - go down 2-0 and win 4 straight

eoin117d ago

They're gonna do it too

Gritty game 3 from San Antonio 😤 How will the Knicks cope with the pressure in game 4? That MSG crowd looked ANXIOUS

david.comerford116d ago

Atmospheres like that go both ways in the playoffs. Road teams seem to be doing especially well this year. Think they're 3-2 in game 7s?

aikansh118d ago

Wemby is insane, but I think the Spurs had the ability to win just one game vs. the Knicks and it’s already done! Knicks in 5🫡

kiemenjoe118d ago

I was impressed how well the Spurs held it together after Wembys and one three got overturned with that offensive foul. Brunson went down and got a bucket after that. The Spurs could have easily let that momentum swing change the whole game. They showed they are back in this.

What are you expecting from Wemby in Game 3? What does he need to adjust? I think the few days rest will be a big help, but he also just needs to be more aggressive against KAT

david.comerford118d ago

He needs to attack the rim. The threes are great when they fall but it doesn't feel like a winning shot diet for him

kiemenjoe119d ago

Yes. Look for aggressive Wemby. Getting to the free throw line is one way to help take the MSG crowd out of the game a bit

eoin119d ago

His mentality makes me confident in him bouncing back for sure, hes got that nastiness. Also needs to stop acting like KAT's some formidable defender, has been good so far but wemby should be bullying

Now 2-0 down in the Finals. How do the Spurs turn this around? Is it possible?

david.comerford118d ago

I think the Knicks have far too much belief, momentum and focus right now. It's over

aaditya.krishnamurthy119d ago

It’s definitely possible - just ask Mikal Bridges - 2021 bucks did it

walkercharlie828119d ago

Easily possible. Just takes one win to change a series

My favourite Spurs game ever is...

aaditya.krishnamurthy119d ago

Game 6 - 2005 finals

dancoombs119d ago

I loved Manu Ginobili’s game 5 against the Heat in 2014

kilham.max127d ago

The Tiago Splitter block game!

The Spurs' 2025/26 season was...

dancoombs126d ago

A for Amazing And that was BEFORE the game 7 win vs OKC Now it’s off the charts

walkercharlie828129d ago

A. They missed the playoffs last year

eoin129d ago

A , for how young they are, to be one of the two best teams in the league , deserves so much credit

Are you backing Dylan Harper to win an MVP award during his career?

walkercharlie828129d ago

He could have a Russell Westbrook type season if Wemby goes down injured or leaves

kiemenjoe129d ago

Hes put together an impressive season. But cant ever see him winning MVP with Wemby on same team

Has Wembanyama already done enough to cement himself as the best? If not, who is?

jamesshearman23129d ago

With the talent around him, the Spurs should win the title if he is the best player ITW. I’m not convinced yet. He’s only averaged 23 PPG in the playoffs.

kilham.max131d ago

Yeah 100%. Defensive monster and his offensive game will only continue to improve – which is crazy.

walkercharlie828131d ago

He is absolutely definitively the best player in the NBA. Making the two time MVP looks like a role player
