A Lakers player hasn't won MVP since Kobe did it in 2008 😱 I'm backing Luka to end the drought next season! Who's with me? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5kjIwZ3-Kw

Simply cannot look past Wemby next season. If Luka is winning he the lakers need the one seed, and zero chance that happens

Sounds like everyone agrees team succes would need to come for Luka to win it. What's the biggest off-season need for the Lakers to make that happen?

There’s a center in Brooklyn they ought to be chasing called Nic Claxton - Luka would make his 2022-23 run with the Nets when he was with KD and Kai look like an average player

They need to sort out the frontcourt! Mitch Robinson would be a great addition

I feel that for Luka to be MVP the Lakers must be a top two seed in the West and get above one of San Antonio/OKC. Team success is a major factor. I can’t see it right now

Can’t see Luka winning MVP in this league until he’s on a contender. Unfortunately, the evaluation metrics since Jokic and SGA have changed too much

I think its become too much of a team award as an individual award, and I dont see the Lakers being good enough next year. Also, health is always an issue with Luka

I think the media have an agenda against Luka and won’t give him MVP unless he’s head and shoulders above everyone else

Have predicted Luka as MVP last three or four years 😭 just not sure anyone can touch wemby next year if he maintains this level

I think it'll all come down to injuries! Worried about Luka and Wemby in that regard, especially given Wemby has looked fatigued in the Finals
