Our Championship predictions are out! Have we been fair with Burnley? 🫣

dantowen819512mo ago

Id be interested to hear from Burnley fans what they think about Alan Pace’s connection with Espanyol!

tom.procter2mo ago

Not the best of summers but I feel like they’ll still be up there challenging, as they do. Probably finish in the play-offs though

freddie2mo ago

I think play-offs surely? If not then it’s a failure

will.butcher2mo ago

Easily enough to finish top six. All hinges on whether the new gaffer can get the best out of this squad, if he can, top two

jackgallagher2mo ago

Burnley will find a way to get promoted, ultimate yo yo club, always find a way!

leeclarke05082mo ago

Mid table for Burnley as the yo up string finally snaps. Joe Worrall is not a promotion winning Central defender in 2026/2027 I'm afraid.

jonathan.gorrie2mo ago

Don’t look anywhere near as good as in recent years at Champ level. Underwhelming season ahead

shamanth.jayaram2mo ago

They’ll come back up via the playoffs and go straight down again. Rinse and repeat

james.brooke2mo ago

I reckon this will be the beginning of a period of decline for them, a little bit like WBA and Norwich have faced. Had their chances at becoming a proper Prem side but haven’t taken them. Manager is a gamble and I could see him being out of the door by Christmas. Wouldnt rule out a finish in the bottom third of the table

caleb.sage2mo ago

Burnley are gonna Burnley I think, which probably means promotion in the new season followed by relegation 😅

lee.connor2mo ago

They’ll be in the top six mix they always are. Hard ground to go to for away sides and they’re always tough to beat.

charlesjones2mo ago

Everyone underrates Burnley everytime they go down. They will be there or thereabouts.

jonny2mo ago

Even in a disaster for Burnley they’ll finish in the play-offs. They’re a yoyo side for a reason!

dancoombs2mo ago

Burnley should be a lock to make the playoffs and will be in the mix for automatic

billy.meyers2mo ago

Definitely taken a gamble with the new manager but I think Burnley still have more than enough to at least secure a spot in the play-offs

dantowen819512mo ago

Such a different pick compared to Parker. Very excited though. Hayden weirdly went from coaching Haverfordwest to Club Brugge in two years haha

eoin2mo ago

Fancy Burnley to make the playoffs but not confident enough to say automatic, I see Coventry being a force again and edging ahead of them

james.brooke2mo ago

Haha Coventry will definitely be ahead of them 😅

chillout2mo ago

Coventry ?

dantowen819512mo ago

I’m a lot more positive about Burnley - albeit I think play-offs will be the target rather than the top two. Hayen I think is a smart pic with the right style of play. Flemming could challenge for the golden boot, and there’s plenty of Champ experience in Laurent, Roberts, Worrall. Cullen to come back too - their most important player

dantowen819512mo ago

I suspect Raghouber will offset the loss of Florentino too

chillout2mo ago

I think you are being hard on Burnley - they are heavily tipped for top 4, and maybe even an automatic promotion slot. Parachute money, a new manager who is a shrew tactician and a squad that remains largely in tact will all play in the club’s favour. It may take the play -offs, but I think they are likely to immediately bounce back to the Prem.

markmarston2mo ago

I think it could be a very underwhelming season for Burnley… financial trouble by the sounds of it… one new player through the door… an unproven manager. Could be stale
