Our Premier League predictions are here! Do you agree with where we have Man City? 👀

2nd or 3rd is my call

20th… hard to be anywhere else when you get a 60 point deduction dropped on your head 😉

There’s just no way Maresca has what it takes to take this City side above Arsenal in one season.

Leaning more towards second because of Arsenal’s improvements but still think City could end up surprising people. Still got loads of quality in that side
david.comerford1mo ago
I think there's been an overreaction to the community shield but Maresca is clearly a sizeable downgrade on Pep. City should finish second, though. Anything less than comfortable CL qualification is a failure

Hull to stay up is not going to happen. They're shocking! Basket case of a club and weren't that good last season. Derby record in danger.

City to be 2nd this time around I think. Arsenal showed at the weekend who’s better
jonny1mo ago
Writing off Chelsea massively here, and United too. City without Rodri, Silva and Pep are not the same team we can simply say will finish 2nd - signing an overrated teenager in Bouaddi won’t change this
dancoombs1mo ago
I would advise one thing - don’t read anything into the Community Shield. Impossible to expect that it clicks right away. The money being spent suggests City won’t tail off
kyle.archer1mo ago
Enzo Maresca will be the Manager of the Season if Man City win the Premier League with how their squad is shaping up. Simply fighting to be the best team in Manchester and second-best overall seems far more likely
callum_boyle1mo ago
Man City win the league. Everyone does this every year and writes them off/predicts a downfall. Maresca was literally one of the brains behind the Pep Treble-winning season. A pointless Charity shield game doesn’t have any bearing on their season. They’ll win it
jackdrury1mo ago
Still comfortably better than the chasing pack. Not close to Arsenal though
jonny1mo ago
Are they? Chelsea and United look way better. Haaland won’t save them alone
george.patten1mo ago
I’m not convinced by Maresca at all. Think a bad season could have them as low as 5th
martin.crawford1mo ago
Way too many people writing them off. Them winning the league would be the most Man City thing that could possibly happen
chillout1mo ago
Is new Manchester City the old Manchester Inited ? Is the new manager the equivalent of David Moyes after Fergie ? Some even have City in a relegation dogfight this season - our writer has them winning the league. Brave call - I think 4th -6th is more likely, with a new manager in place over the Christmas break.
jonny1mo ago
Yeah there is no chance they win the league, only have to watch their community shield performance to see that. I think 2nd to 7th is anyone’s game to be honest, such slim margins. But losing Rodri is huge… I even saw one prediction had them bottom (with a 60 point deduction)
dantowen819511mo ago
I disagree, I think. I think this will be more similar to Pep’s first year when they finished 4th
tom.procter1mo ago
It’s so hard to say right now. Still some top top players in that squad, but how do you lose Pep, Rodri and Bernardo and not feel it? We’ll see what City do in the window in the next two weeks but I think as things stand we might come 4th
eoin1mo ago
Still so much talent in the Squad though, wouldnt be one bit shocked if maresca does a slot and wins year 1. Arsenal are fallible, and Haaland is entering is prime which is just scary
freddie1mo ago
A season of unknown but got a quality group of players! I think 2nd again but would love to be wrong
