Man City’s starting XI vs Porto is in and there’s a full debut for Ayyoub Bouaddi 👀

I had my doubts about City this season - life after Pep, and the Community Shield debacle. But they have certainly done the biz in the Prem and now Europe so far this season.

I agree, and I’ve never really rated Maresca either even before this City appointment, but he’s starting to win me over. Be interesting to see how he tackles things up until January, when he inevitably gets another £200m to plug any gaps!!!

Think everyone had doubts which was understandable. I definitely did. Pleasantly surprised by this start after the Arsenal defeat. There'll still be bumps in the road but Maresca deserves his flowers!

Silly squad depth that… but I think this man is gonna shine out there tonight, looking forward to it ⚽️

Unfair isn’t it. Just a crazy good team, how are the lesser teams ever meant to compete

Yeah strong squad and O’Reilly and Doku still to return. Refreshing to see Maresca throwing Bouaddi in here

Excited to see this lad… joy to watch in the World Cup. Has a presence and a calmness about him which is so rare at that age

Yeah such exciting traits. Will be very interesting to see how he gets on tonight. Big chance for him. Fair play to Maresca chucking him in, he could easily have just played someone like Kovacic or Lewis
