Unfortunately definitely the Super Bowl for those in the USA. Personally, I don't like American football and don't watch. Tennis is much more interesting and fun to watch. and an international sport. A tennis spectator can learn a lot about the countries of the world if they really follow players from all over.

Wimbledon is Tennis!!! I've never been into football but Love ALL tennis everywhere. New York is Far too Noisy especially iff they're drunk! No wonder Sascha took to Bouncing so much! Lol....needed it to shut up. Nah Wimbldon FOREVER❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

For the American people definitely the superbowl, but for the rest of the world it's the tennis. American football just doesn't do it for me and the rest of the world outside the USA. Even rugby is more universal than American football

Definitely the Super Bowl. Don’t think it’s up for debate really. The viewing figures speak for themselves.

Does the U.S. Open have upwards of 100M viewers on any given day during the tournament? That would be a no. Not even close is an understatement.

Am I the only one that thinks Andy Roddick can be an idiot. He thinks saying things with authority, or conviction, means smart. It doesn't.

Whilst I enjoy tennis, the Super Bowl is undeniably the bigger sporting event.
tufidonna2w ago
I love tennis but I think the super bowl is bigger in the US.
freddie2w ago
It’s the SuperBowl

Super Bowl attracts people who don’t even follow the NFL. No question.
daviescallum422w ago
US Open by far, although Americans will probs disagree. It gets huge crowds for 3 weeks now, has HUGE prize money, and attracts all the world’s biggest celebrities. Tennis on 🔝 Super Bowl most overrated sporting event ever
johnverrall112w ago
The US Open is far bigger worldwide for three weeks than the Super Bowl

Roddick has the rose-tinted specs on. Super Bowl is far bigger

The Super Bowl by an absolute country mile. I wouldn’t even know when the US Open tennis is on, whereas even though I don’t watch the NFL I’m always fully aware when it’s SuperBowl weekend. I’m sure the SuperBowl has more worldwide appeal too, whereas I imagine the tennis is purely attracting those just in America.

I’d say the Super Bowl, feel like Tennis is more niche here
kilham.max2w ago
Has to be the Super Bowl. The US Open isn't even the biggest Grand Slam. Wimbledon and Roland Garros are greater events.
daviescallum422w ago
That doesn’t mean it can’t be bigger. Wimbledon & RG are both bigger than the Super Bowl IMO, and the US Op

Clearly it's the Super Bowl but NFL not for me so much prefer to watch the US Open. The US Open isn't even the major that the players desperately want to win in the sport.
markmarston2w ago
The Super Bowl yeah… probs not even close tbf. Tennis is a lot bigger sport than many realise tho and it much more global than American Football.
david.comerford2w ago
If we're going by viewership - the ultimate metric - then it's the Super Bowl surely?
jamesshearman232w ago
Whether you like it or not, the Super Bowl is absolutely miles bigger. People who don’t watch the NFL will stay up for the Super Bowl. Only tennis fans care about the US Open
walkercharlie8282w ago
The Super Bowl and it's not even remotely close
ahambly232w ago
Super Bowl by a mile - the tennis US Open isn't even the biggest sporting event called the US Open
antonymmartin842w ago
I’m not an NFL fan at all, hate the sport. But…I would say it’s definitely bigger than the US open
walkercharlie8282w ago
Add it to the list
aaditya.krishnamurthy2w ago
I wouldn’t even say it’s a lateral comparison - one is a one night championship game, the other is a three-week tournament
matthew.johns2w ago
I would love to say it’s the US Open, but I would be lying. The Super Bowl is absolutely huge, even just for the half time show alone!
seanfisher2w ago
Definitely the Super Bowl… even if it is America-centric… it’s huge. US Open is one of four Grand Slams, and is obviously huge but not as big
aaditya.krishnamurthy2w ago
Not sure how this is a question - the US Open isn’t even the most prestigious of the big four tournaments, while the Super Bowl as an event is so huge that it ends up garnering attention despite most people in the world not even knowing about American Football
jamie.theodosi2w ago
No contest, the Super Bowl is one of the biggest sporting events in the world, not just America.
jordan.harris2w ago
Don’t care for either but it’s definitely the Super Bowl surely?
charlesjones2w ago
Not even close. It’s the Super Bowl of course
peter.lynch2w ago
There’s no debate here imo… Super Bowl takes it and most Americans will surely agree. It’s just huge and unmissable for millions, which I don’t think is the case for the US Open
george.patten2w ago
It’s the Super Bowl. US Open is a big deal, but in America it’s incomparable to the Super Bowl. You ask Americans who won the Super Bowl this year, a lot more of them will tell you the right answer than would say Zverev/Rybakina if you asked them the same question for the US Open
daviescallum422w ago
US Open by far, although Americans will probs disagree. It gets huge crowds for 3 weeks now, has HUGE prize money, and attracts all the world’s biggest celebrities. Tennis on 🔝
