Another bloody injury, this time Cody Gapko when does our curse ever end, this stupid Nations League is to blame for this having 4 games in 11 days during international break totally horrendous, they're saying Gapkos injury looks serious as he was brought off after 17 minutes, but I still think we've got enough to beat the scumbags Manchester City

james.brooke6d ago

Xavi didn't seem to think it was too serious, but it looks worse than Isak's doesn't it. Ankle got caught under the challenge. Could just be bruising maybe, Cody didn't look in too much pain to me, but let's wait and see. What do you think the front three would be without Gakpo/Isak? Maybe Barcola/Munoz/Ngumoha?

Guy me I'm tired. When isak was getting back to form this happened

james.brooke1w ago

Hopefully he'll be alright. Not shaking off the injury prone tags just yet though is he

Guessing it's precautionary. Might not be able to play in Sweden's next game, so all parties likely decided it's better he returns. Hopefully a good thing for Liverpool

That's a great piece you wrote James, it really relaxes my nerves that it's not serious as his foot and toe would of been in a cast if broken, hence the picture I uploaded of the picture of his injury, we're beating City with Alex being fit

james.brooke1w ago

Yep, it’s good news definitely mate, although we don’t know yet if there’s a different issue. Good early signs though

Hi James, I've put a picture of his injury on the chat, it doesn't look serious as the toe is not set in plaster, this has made my day as well as City getting found guilty of the 114 charges. 😍

What does the term"minor injury" mean..?, we're SCREWED if it's bad, Sweden are playing him too much, too soon again, good to have him back at least🤞

james.brooke1w ago

We’ll just have to wait and find out, but any injury news is a worry given his history and because we don’t have back up. Hopefully minor really does mean minor. Who would you play up front if he misses City? Surely can’t be Koumas. Probably be Gakpo but he’s been good on the right

jonathan.gorrie1w ago

Probably good news, to be honest. Rest him up for City if its only minor

james.brooke1w ago

‘Good news’

keithsmyth3761w ago

This is just typical what happens with the stupid Nations League that shouldn't even on, let's hope Alex is fine and can return for the game against City, this is very bad timing again for us as he was starting to find his goalscoring flow again, but let's hope everything is going to be fine

james.brooke1w ago

It looked like he got a stamp on the toe Keith, potentially broken worst case scenario. But hopefully 'minor injury' as the club and Sweden are saying is right and it's just a precaution. We really do need him

james.brooke1w ago

Looks like just a bang on the toe, nothing serious. If it's muscle we're in trouble as that could mean Koumas against City? But hopefully just a precaution. In theory could be good news to a degree as he'll get a couple of weeks off and avoid three more matches, but we've seen how he is after a break, so maybe not. Fingers crossed it's nothing 🤞

I swear if this is serious… he was just getting good again!
