ARSENAL FOR EVER,WIN OR NOT. VERY GOOD CLUB DESERVE TO BE TO TEAM

Does Sagna get the credit he deserves? Think Koscieny is the right answer when you look at how long it took them to get another reliable, first name on the team sheet style CB

Mikel merino great impact goal scorer

Surprised nobody here has said Koscielny. The way he left ruined his legacy, but he was right up there with the best CBs in the Prem for years before Van Dijk. May not be Arsenal’s MOST underrated player ever but definitely right up there

I still think Auba had a lot to give, although his timekeeping was crap he knew how to put a ball in the net on match days.

Cazorla was always good, just played in a bit of a meh team

Maybe not underrated because he got a lot of hype as a teenager, but I feel Walcott was underappreciated. Criticised for not properly fulfilling his potential but still finished his Arsenal career with more than 100 goals!

I always liked Clichy, but it has to be Gilberto Silva or Ray Parlour

Weirdly, it’s Robert Pires. He was quality, but he was overshadowed by some of the bigger names around him.

Lauren was massively underrated and a key part of the best team. Both Winterburn and Dixon were solid players too. Gilberto Silva probably doesn’t get the praise either because of the quality around him but he was immense.

Robert Pires for me, one of the best wingers the league has ever seen around 01/02 and doesn’t get spoken about enough

Always felt Santi Cazorla was really underrated. That Achilles injury he got was brutal
dale.odonnell3d ago
Yes, always enjoyed watching him. Class player.

What about Giroud? Never seen as an elite striker at Arsenal but his record was always pretty good

Don’t know why but one of the first names that came to mind for me was Tomas Rosicky

Nigel was always underrated. Great team player. Part of that formidable defence.

Xhaka I’d say… for so so long he was labelled rubbish. I always thought he had quality & we saw that when the team was more stable under Arteta towards the end. So unlucky not to be a title winning captain. Also a special mention to Eduardo, he was absolutely brilliant before that awful leg break. He got 19 goal involvements in 26 starts for Arsenal 😳🪄

Eduardo was ice-cold in the box wasn’t he. He could have been class. That leg break was horrific!

One that immediately jumps to mind for me is Lauren
