He'd been reporting brake issues over the radio for a little while and it looked like he couldn't get it back to the pit lane, which is a bit silly given he was only two away! Camera angle made it look like a crash though, but he was just stopped in the slip road!

The timing of the VSC was awful but surely McLaren have to keep him out? They’ve just shot themselves in the foot completely, more so by them screwing up the stop!

Yeah if you miss the safety car window, that hurts. But by choosing to bring him in anyway is surely just the worst scenario!?

Not sure why McLaren brought him in. They should have cancelled the call and extended

Disaster timing from McLaren there, with the VSC ending towards the end of that lap! Should have called him in when he passed Stroll stopped on track 🤷‍♀️
