Sheffield United have a fully fit Kalvin Phillips for the season — who makes way in midfield?

There’s a quality player in there - Not sure we will see it this year tho

We have 5 decent midfielders now. Still think there’s a chance we sell Peck. Still, would leave us with Arblaster, Riedewald, Phillips and Rothwell, with O’Hare in the 10. Not bad for a Championship side that.

What do you expect this season ? Play-offs ?

You have to wonder just how much regret he has about leaving Leeds… he’d be a concrete club legend by now if he stayed put

Who knows - maybe he just had a couple of decent seasons in him; it could have all gone downhill just as rapidly if he had stayed at Leeds.

If Wilder can sprinkle the same magic dust on Phillips, that has got Bamford back to somewhere near his best, then his patience with KP will be rewarded. Desperate for KP to get back to his normal self

You have to say that his normal self isn’t very good (unfortunately).

probably Peck or Arblaster id imagine. But who knows.

Whoever gives way, it probably won’t be for long - he only ever seems to get sent off or injured.
