Automatic promotion is surely out of the question for Sheffield United next season, as the club faces financial constraints and a sizeable squad overhaul in the summer. But they have to be in the mix for the 6 club play-offs. Is this where Chris Wilder can step up and make the difference ? He has his doubters, but is now his chance to prove them wrong ?

Yeah I think they’ll be in the mix but it really depends on how Wolves and West Ham do. If they bounce back, it’s going to be a real battle for those other spots

Six play-off spots means the Championship is going to be a bit of a casino from next season. Anyone can get in with a good run from March onwards.

Steady season in store for them for certain. O'Hare and Hamer must be kept.

Surely no chance Hamer stays for another year

With Bamford and possibly Kalvin Phillips in the side, they can definitely go up in the top two

I’d never say automatic promotion is off the cards with Chris wilder. He’s worked miracles before

Finishing above West Ham and Wolves is a tough ask. Everyone needs to hope their squads get gutted after relegation, especially West Ham.

Is he actually that great a manager any more?

I think Sheffield United will have a steady season with Wilder in charge, but I can’t see them finishing in the top 8. Anywhere mid table I can see them.
