I think it’s the perfect appointment. Someone needs to restore some order in that dressing room and instil a bit of the Real Madrid culture that’s gone. Mourinho can do it, he’s already proved it!

I hope he succeeds. Still admire Jose, but his track record of leaving clubs in a mess doesn’t bode well. It will take a big character like Jose to unite that dressing room and restore Real Madrid to its glories.

Think it’s the perfect appointment. They need a big personality and a disciplinarian to manage the egos. Arbeloa seemed to lose control of Mbappe and co. Real are that good they don’t need fancy patterns of play… just a proper old school manager who can set up a defence and give the flair players a foundation to express themselves. Another UCL coming 👀

I think he’s going to do really well. The bigger clubs suit him and even though the game has moved past him a bit, he’ll have the players to get results. Whether he’ll be able to make Mbappe track back is the big question though
