Is Marc Cucurella what Real Madrid needed? What do you think of the £52m deal?

They’ve clearly had their struggles at LB, think he’ll be a fan favorite in Madrid, certainly knows how to make his presence felt!

Great deal. Left-back has been a problem position for a while. I’d be interested to hear from Real fans what this means for Carreras though

Great move for Madrid, terrible for Chelsea! Feels like a steal

Terrible news for Alvaro Carreras, who was pushed out under Arbeloa and had his attitude questioned… Seems Jose has already made his mind up on him 👀😬

They signed him to hijack Barcelona’s transfer strategy, just like they did with Silva and Alvarez. And Cucurella showed yesterday why he’s not going to be a major upgrade over Carreras. Timid against low blocks, which is how most La Liga teams will play against Real, and can’t stretch the field the right way. Good move, Perez, you really showed barca!

Why would Chelsea sell? Have they even made profit? They know something we don’t 🧐

Quality player in a position Madrid badly need one. Mendy is great but can't rely on him to ever stay fit
