Carlos Espi is a Madridista and Jose Mourinho keeps getting what he wants 💪 How are you feeling about the new-look squad? 😍

I do like Espi. He’s certainly something different - a physical no 9, great in the air, and a brilliant presser I could see Mbappe combining with him well, given his back to goal potential

Whether he gets enough minutes though is another matter. We all remember Mariano and Jovic

Getting Espi for €25m and selling Garcia for Fulham to €40m looks like amazing business, seemingly handed on a plate to Real

Espi will be just another Mariano Diaz, will barely play and spend the next 5 years of his career jumping between loans. Terrible move for him

I don’t think there’s been a more pointless career than Mariano 😂I still remember that loan spell at Lyon when he looked genuinely amazing

The squad is looking strong and a touch more balanced but I fear Bernardo Silva is bound for those ‘washed’ compilations. Yes I know he could make me look very stupid

Haha either side of Kyle Walker at Burnley and Rio at qpr?
