QPR fans, who was your childhood hero growing up? 🤔
markmarston5d ago
Leicester fan here - Jamie Mackie was a right pain to play against!

QPR sit sixth heading into the break... how do you assess our start and what needs improving? 👀
dantowen8195113d ago
It’s been a fairly solid start! Considering the mood heading into the season, I think Stephen has done ok But are there enough goals in this team? A lot will rest on whether Kone and Burrell can hit double figures
markmarston13d ago
Four draws in eight games… can you imagine if they start turning into wins. If Stephan can get the balance right, QPR could be a serious candidate for the play-offs
7 games in, 5th in the league… have your expectations changed for the season QPR fans? 👀
markmarston19d ago
Defo… I was concerned about how the new defence would gel having changed pretty much the whole back five.. but they are showing that it’s no problem. I expect top 8 uno 👀
A point on the road for the R's away at West Brom. Give us your reaction to that result
markmarston21d ago
Good result that… QPR are looking well placed to finish in the top 8 👏

Scoreless draw at The Valley
How are you feeling about that result?
dale.odonnell25d ago
Expected a win after the defeat to Southampton on Saturday.
If QPR beat Charlton this evening, it will be the first time they’ve won each of their first three away games of a league season since 1988… can they do it 👀
chillout25d ago
QPR have already peaked this season.

QPR hero Adel Taarabt retires from football! What are some of your favourite memories?
The streets, they say, will NEVER forget...
markmarston26d ago
The nutmeg followed by trivella finish 😍😍 can’t remember who it was against
tom.procter26d ago
Got to be this 😮💨

jonathan.gorrie26d ago
Gotta be this. Love that first goal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Hz_4LRxtvM
QPR lose 1-0 to Middlesbrough. What did you make of that frustrating game?

Tariq Lamptey was QPR's MOTM vs Cardiff... who else stood out to you? 👀

A Burrell brace to win it for QPR! Thoughts on that performance?

Six new signings for QPR this summer... is it enough to push for play-offs this season? 👀
dantowen8195132d ago
It’s only due to injuries that Lamptey didn’t join Bayern a few years ago… if QPR can keep him fit he’ll be unbelievable Glen Kamara too is really solid. He’ll do nothing flashy but will never give the ball away
george.patten32d ago
Lamprey is a great signing imo. If he stays fit ofc
markmarston32d ago
Clearly a quality over quantity approach… some exceptional signings. The defence looks significantly stronger. Top 8 looks possible now
Frustrating result 😡 What needs to be improved after QPR's draw with Bolton?!
jonathan.gorrie42d ago
Some of that finishing was appalling 😂

We got off to a flying start in GW1, but where do you think QPR will finish? Do you agree with our predictions? 👀
dantowen8195147d ago
There’s some players here who coild explode. Burrell, Kone, Vale in particular. Julian Stephen has to dispel some doubts about himself though
eoin48d ago
I could see them snesking into the playoffs in 7th or 8th
will.butcher48d ago
Brilliant signings, can really see a push for the top six. This Championship feels wide open

QPR make a strong start to the campaign 💪 who stood out to you at Fratton Park?

Those penalties against Millwall 😭 anyone else think Chair looks disinterested?!

Using the line-up builder, what would be your QPR XI for Millwall this weekend?

WOW... QPR sign Tariq Lamptey out of nowhere!! Give us your immediate reaction 😮
The 25-year-old left Fiorentina earlier this year.
gorriejonathan74d ago
A risk but looks exciting on paper! Hard to get too excited given his injury record though
kyle.dimond75d ago
Very interested to hear what his wages are. Bit of a risk imo. I mean, if they get him back playing regularly it could pay off big but that’s a huge IF
vatsal75d ago
A signing that will surprise a lot of people but those who've followed him won't be surprised when he plays 5 games next season. Big name, but his career has been one big "what if" scenario. Can't see that changing in a grueling Championship division.
QPR news roundup:
markmarston80d ago
After signing Pierce Charles on a loan deal from Man City, QPR are targeting a move to sign Yanis Cimignani from Lugano. The Hoops are also eyeing Motherwell midfielder Elliot Watt. Jonathan Varane is wanted by St Ettienne but the club have recently rejected a fresh bid. Stephan’s side take on Wiener Neustadt in their second pre-season friendly tonight.

Julien Stéphan has signed a new contract! What are your expectations under him next season?
chillout48d ago
They should be contenders; I’m not sure they will be.
dantowen8195182d ago
He’s a much better manager I think than last year suggested. Charles is a superb addition, if he can get Kone and Burrell scoring more regularly I think they can do what Derby did last year for example
QPR - Some random interesting stats & facts:
chillout93d ago
In 1967, QPR became the first third tier club to win a major English trophy - the League Cup, beating West Brom 3-2 in the final (coming from 2-0 down). Before settling at Loftus Road in 1917, the club played at a record 17 different home grounds. In 1981, QPR became the first British club to install an artificial Omniturf pitch.

Another season of mediocrity, and the days in the Premier League seem more and more a distant memory. Being a QPR fan right now seems to be all about managing low expectations. Will it get any better any time soon ?
kyle.dimond118d ago
I can see the manager leaving if his stock takes more hits as a result of the club he’s at. Just doesn’t seem like he has the tools necessary to succeed
callum_boyle119d ago
They’re bang average team. Bar Richard Kone, they have no real proven goal scorer, there’s nobody who takes the game by the scruff of the neck and they’re miles behind all of the clubs close to the area. They look afraid to put their hand in their pockets after that Premier League disaster

I rate their manager… he’s still young and learning his trade. Perhaps with a season under his belt in England he’ll now push them towards the top six

Rayan Kolli will have a breakout season
Prove me wrong...
dantowen81951119d ago
I think he could - but I thought last season would be his breakout. It’s a harsh world football but people will be expecting more pretty soon
vatsal119d ago
He's 21, and only showing glimpses in the second tier. Depends on what you mean by "breakout" but his ceiling is top level Championship/lower level PL in the best case scenario
callum_boyle119d ago
I don’t think he’s that good tbh. He might be okay, but nothing exciting
Who gets your pick?
dantowen81951119d ago
Chelsea! Need to get those derbies back. Although I’m sure the Rs would happily get one over on West Ham
james.brooke119d ago
Their board 😭😂
charlesjones119d ago
Fulham! Chelsea too busy worrying about Arsenal and Spurs
What are your favourite memories from the Neil Warnock era?
callum_boyle119d ago
His ability to get the best out of Taraabt despite constantly moaning at him haha
adnan.riaz119d ago
It wasn’t at QPR, but this moment was truly iconic. 🤣 Needs a shoutout either way.

will.butcher119d ago
Bring him home
Which QPR hero are you bringing back to the club in their prime?
dantowen81951119d ago
Hill is an underrated shout considering how bad the defence was last season! They could do with a proper consistent no 9 like Austin too
charlesjones119d ago
Les Ferdinand!

Got to be Taraabt. The most technically gifted player the Championship has seen
