Steve Cooper is out of work after leaving Brondby in May... would you take him Preston fans? 👀

Good manager for the situation they’re in imo. Thought he would be a top manager at one point, strange to see him fall this low

Yeah he’s proven in the Championship. Him or maybe Rob Edward ,

Would be silly not to! Really good manager for this level

I actually think Cooper is a good manager, one I’d have taken at West Brom over the past few years. I’d be happy with that as a Preston fan tbh

I think as soon as a decent Chanpionship role becomes vacant he will be one of the first in line to take it!

Not the best to watch but he’s fairly effective? I think go and get!

As a Forest fan I'm staggered he's not worked in the Champ again. Plays a system tailor made for the Champ and knows how to get out of it.

True - think he’d do well at a club with lesser expectations. The fear is if he joined one of the better sides, their fans wouldn’t put up with his style of play even if it yielded decent results. Even Swansea fans weren’t really on board with him despite achieving play-offs
freddie2w ago
Exactly! Track record shows why he’d be great

I'm a big advocate for Cooper, especially in the Championship. Go for it! Although I understand why some would be concerned about his playing style, I think it works best for a long season in the EFL

Yeah go for It. Hasnt done enough in the PL but still a good manager Who could push for the extra playoffs spots

Leicester fan here - I would say avoid if you want to be entertained. Cooper’s style was a tough watch at Leicester… sucked out all the enjoyment. But then again, he’s got a promotion on his CV with Forest. I’m sure their fans would argue he’d be an outstanding appointment
