Was selling Isak in the manner they did where the wheels started to come off for PIF at Newcastle?

Yep

Can't keep a player who thinks the Toon is just a stepping stone to something better! Don't think he'll be the same player we had!

No the play style is the issue, you can’t expect to compete in four competitions with a small squad by playing an energy intense high press and not get injuries, not get caught out of position. Lessons weren’t learned from the previous European campaign, we have ball playing defenders so play style could have been varied pre season

Yes Isak changed everything for me I've supported the toon for 50+ yrs. Tonali .Gordon and Liveramento can leave for a good price. I would like to keep Bruno.Hall and Waltenmade.

Since selling isk has led to our downfall he have to fit in be on top form we cant deny he was a great player but you don't mug your boss who sees hm training every day but im glad hes gone but finding a replacement will be tough as isak was on fire until he sold us out for Liverpool good bit money in bank but not a lot has come from that 140 million hes

I think that's the thing isn't it? Selling was fine - he forced it. But wasting all that money in a PSR world is painful

The wheels came off the moment Mandy was ousted imo. She provided the link between PIFs backing and club ambitions and her departure left a gaping hole in the boardroom. And were she still here it's arguable that so would Isak.

Yeah I don't think that's a bad shout. Feels like we've been coming down from the intial wave of excitement ever since

We lost a really good striker in ISAK

I agree totally

I'm gutted to admit it, felt like we tried to convince ourselves it wasn't ruinous. How long do you think it will take to recover?
