On a scale of 1-10, how confident are YOU that Nuno leads us straight back up? 👀
Here's why I think we can learn NOTHING from his time at Wolves 👇

He needs to address the goals against column, far too many. Simple fix is to play with 1 striker with Bowen and Solomon wide, a CDM - Alverez is the best in the division, which will allow more freedom for Engels and Mukasa to dictate play. Simples!

1. With his negative and boring style of football he was responsible for taking us down. On the three friendlies there doesn't appear to much forward progress so if nothing changes we will struggle !

3. On some of Nuno's performances last season, I have little confidence he will get us back to the PL. He will do what Tuchel did with England in the WC, i.e. hit the front and then go defensive/negative.

Shouldn't have lead us there in the first place

IF we get our fingers out of our xxxxx and start signing some players he stands a 60/40 chance but….. but he needs the squad and 3 weeks to go he hasn’t got that

We had our best run in the league after the January window. This window will be a season defining window. Yes we will lose some of our best player they will be replace with hungry waiting to make a name for themselves.
alan.mayo513mo ago
No higher than 2. As we still don’t have any idea what our squad will look like, how can we be confident of coming straight back. Also, Nuno’s cautious tactics don’t inspire confidence.

Just 4 if no Paco

We will do it, if we don't go into defence mode when leading, no one ever wins, playing defending football, attack, attack or attack.

We were dead and buried before xmas, one transfer window with a few additions and we began to believe and took it to the last match. Chopping and changing managers every 18 months is the making of s unstable. The three longest serving managers in the club have the best history. Give Nuno a chance to rebuild the club.

10 and we di not have the luxury of other worthwhile options. He knows the players who will show fight and those who are merely travellers on a big salary
debham58502mo ago
Nuno is the guy who needs to show fight. Replacing attacking for defensive players in friendly or trial games seems absurd to me.

1. No confidence in that coach anymore.

It will be what it will be, at least Nuno gave us the best chance to stay in the PL
danny.landon923mo ago
No he didn’t! Two wins in his first 16 games was the reason they got relegated - all down to Nuno with his odd team selection and negative tactics.
igrimshaw014mo ago
I'll give him an 8. Ive often thought that when a club is relegated, the manager and players should stay and fight for the club. It took a while for Nuno to turn things around (apart from 3 dodgy team selections). So.less Bowen has alluded to the fact he'll stay. If that's true then maybe others will follow suit. Although I think Matty will go ⚒️
debham58504mo ago
I'll give him a three. Doesn't matter what league we are in. If we play with some of the teams Nuno puts out, we will get smashed. When we should be going at teams, he goes defensive. I'd rather have a manager who lets in three but scores four, any day of the week. This defensive garbage bores me to the extreme. Where's Ange!!
kwaylen4mo ago
I don’t like his defensive tactics we were in real trouble until paco arrived! It’s worth giving him a shot as his record in the championship is good. I would like Bellamy and Collins as his assistant! They’ve both got fire in the bellies and love west ham COYI
dantowen819514mo ago
Hard to say when we don’t know what the squad will look like - I will say a cautious 7
dave.grimwood104mo ago
I think he should leave he has no plan b
john.qlink4mo ago
He may have the championship before but that's in tha past, it's the future now, so let's see it he can do it again? The jury out on this one. I'm not a big fan of nuno, would prefer Belemy
dantowen819514mo ago
I’d be interested to see if Parker opts to wait and see how the Nuno situation plays out
mcooper1975.mc4mo ago
0 he messed up this season and if we do lose some of our bigger players he's not a man I'd trust to find just as good replacements
jamesshearman234mo ago
It was so frustrating that he took so long to turn things around. You can’t say he didn’t improve the team massively in the last few months though
dancoombs4mo ago
Too early to say, depends on transfers in and out
bw4904104mo ago
No faith in Nuno 4
jamesshearman234mo ago
He’s won the Championship before!
garyca1584mo ago
I think he could do it again so going 8 but depends he can keep out of the big three none should be sold cheap no less then 60k
jonathan.gorrie4mo ago
Yeah, it's so dependant on the squad, I guess. Presumably, the big three you're talking about are Bowen, Summerville and Fernandes?
jamesshearman234mo ago
7. Massive difference between PL and Championship. He might be the best manager in the league
jonathan.gorrie4mo ago
I'm going 5. He won't have it as good here! Happy to be proven wrong...
