Talk Norwich City

Curtains for Norwich. But I’m always a big believer in a club like Norwich prioritising the league over cup so I actually think it’ll do them a favour.

God help them. Not a good time to face them - especially in a competitive that they have made their own over the years.

Absolutely love the Brooks signing but aside from that very undwhelming tbh. Not been the best start to the season either… could be a missed opportunity.

Is it maybe worth taking him on loan, with a bigger obligation-to-buy fee if Philippe Clement takes them up?

It’s a bargain, but with Norwich not having deep pockets can they commit that much to a left-back… no doubt an excellent investment for whoever signs him

You're paying for potential with Amass, and he has loads of it. This outlay can look like a masterstroke with a full season of senior football. I'd pay it. These are the kinds of signings smart clubs make and leave the elite selling club in regret.

Gives off 90s vibes..

It’s giving Elizabeth Line 😂not sure if I love it!

Hmm.. I’d probably do £10m and a sell-on clause tbh. Good player but full-backs are easily replacable for the most part. Be good money to invest in other areas of the squad

Norwich City’s fan anthem ‘On the ball, City’, is the oldest recognised football song in the world - written in the 1890s. Carrow Road was constructed in 82 days, after the club had to urgently leave the ‘Nest’ stadium in 1935. In 1975 Norwich signed one of the the first football sponsorship shirt contracts - broadcasters initially banned the shirts from TV.

I back Clement to do well but the Championship is going to be brutal next season. I'd be very delighted with a playoff spot if I were a Norwich fan, because it's shaping up to be a bloodbath

As a West Brom fan, Norwich are a team I’m keeping my eye on next season. Fantastic recruitment last season and a quality manager. I think they’re top 6 for certain, could push for autos.

I reckon under Clement Norwich build on the momentum they finished last season with and a playoff spot should be the aim next term! 💛

Making them an entertaining side to watch. Also managing to pick up wins and clean sheets with Shane Duffy in your squad deserves plaudits

Was it Surman in midfield and Simeon Jackson up front? Really struggling 🤔

callum_boyle118d ago

I think they need another CM. Kenny McLean is brilliant but they can’t rely on him forever

jamesshearman23118d ago

A striker to replace Josh Sargent

callum_boyle118d ago

I reckon he gets around the same amount. Looked a real handful for them last season
