Where does Andoni Iraola rank for you among Michael Carrick alternatives?
Would you want Iraola at Old Trafford, now he is ready for a new challenge?

Not anywhere near Carrick!! Please, for the sake of the club and fans, let’s fix our eyes on Carrick. the man saved us the heartache from Amorim! Am sure even Bruno and colleagues share the same feeling.

Hell no, he's not a top manager he's a mid table manager a Graham Potter or David Moyes. Carrick has proven he can manage the pressure... Sir Alex demands it #weareunited

It is all about pressure with the united job.
freddie5mo ago
😭🤣 Iraola IS a top manager and WAY better than all of those, even Carrick but a long way. And Carrick has proved nothing bar he he can manage once a week… if Carrick gets the job it’s a farce

I am starting to think that the players are getting lazy again. The big problem for United is buying big names. I fully believed Michael Carrick was the man, but I am wondering now. He persists with Yoro, and Sesko isn't good enough to start. How can he, and his staff not see this? Areola wouldn't be the worst choice! He has done well with the cherries!

You can only pee with the tackle you've got, it's not Carrick it's the players, they need a rocket at times and I'm sure the un assuming guy we see on the tv is a potential junior fergie if they dont pull their socks up

Whoever we hire - we need somebody who can get through to the players. They looked complacent in that last game

I vote carrick, he is the who led us out of the amorin stagnation
freddie5mo ago
I think I could have led United out of the Amorim stagnation… all he’s done is play players in the right position

The difference between Carrick and Amorim is results. Haven't seen an improvement in football, infact the intensity has continued to drop since the Arsenal game. Consider the last 5 games. 2 wins, 2 loss and a draw - 7 points from a possible 15. We need to look past the results and look at football, vison, tactics etc.

Why would we want him has he done anything exceptional,?
freddie5mo ago
So by that logic Carrick should get nowhere near this job next season… (and I disagree anyway, Iraola has done exceptional things at Bournemouth!)

THIS. People need to get over this "shiny new toy" obsession. Just because he isn't at Man Utd doesn't mean he's the best thing since sliced bread. The same people will be calling for his head after two winless games. In Carrick we trust!
