Who was Newcastle United's most disappointing player vs Sunderland?

Feel free to list all of them in the comments 👀

Its not has important losing a game if you know your team has given 100% and fought tooth and nail. But at the moment those games are getting to be far and few between. Need to sign some good quality players regardless of cost. Not rely on cheap, young untried players.yet

Gordon - looks like a world beater one game and an egg beater the next. No consistency at all

Woltemade was poor but I think that was more to do with how isolated he was. Elanga, on the other hand, was abysmal! What was Howe thinking??

Poorest - Willock just runs but can't press or tackle, then takes out their keeper at the end giving them an excuse to time waste and distract. 2nd poorest - Elanga, under or over hitting passes and can't receive a ball with slightest of pressure.

You're not wrong! Where do we go from here? Just feels like we're stuck in a rut right now

Elanga continues to look like a terrible signing. What has happened to him?

Such a toothless performance. Elanga beyond frustrating once again

james.rutherford9mo ago

Too many to choose from. Embarrassing performance from the majority of the team. Woltemade was anonymous until THAT moment, Gordon and Elanga carried no threat.

need so much more from Elanga!!

Gordon, we know what he is capable of but just didn't show up. Elanga equally awful, but that wasn't unexpected.

I couldn't believe how bad Gordon was after a recent upturn. Is this just his level now? Few good games and then a bad one?

Really thought Elanga would be a good signing, but he has been shocking. Poor once again today

Elanga is becoming a problem. Forget about Murphy being better than him. Newcastle used to be better with Almiron down that side. The even bigger issue is that the fixture schedule is going to get worse.

jonathan.gorrie9mo ago

Elanga for me. Tried to be patient but I just can't see it ever working.

As well as he has done this season, can only be Big Nick for this...Please put the ball in the other end next time...
